It definitely does get in the way.. usually i don’t mind it unless I’m in skinny canals it’s difficult to turn around…

Got a classic with a center console and topped out 32 with the same motor, lately been getting 30 solo 27-29 2 people loaded. Needs a new prop

I have a classic 15'6" 2007 model, with a 25hp 4 stroke Suzuki. It will get up to 30mph top speed, but it will do 28mph all day long with two people and gear.

I have a Gheenoe LT-25 Center Console with a Tohatsu 25hp and my top speed is 30.6 mph @ W.O.T. by myself. When I am with my fishing buddy and gear, my LT-25 does 28-29mph. I think that is about average top speed for this micro-skiffs. I have seen people on UA-cam with 30hp and even 40hp outboards on LT-25’s but that is risky with the coastguard inspecting the Gheenoe and not to mention your transom could suffer for the added weight and torque. 😉

Yeah I wouldn’t want to do that to my transom. I’ve done a few speed tests and haven’t gotten it above 30.

Transom will be fine haha I have a 20hp on my 15’4 highsider and have seen people run 60-75hp on a lt25, one guy on UA-cam has a 90 on his super18
