Gheenoe Fishing on a 15'6" Classic at 33MPH. Can I get an inshore Slam? (Gheenoe Highsider)

Aaron from Off the Hook Venice goes inshore fishing with his neighbor Chris on a very chilly and windy morning aboard a Gheenoe 15'6" Classic which is crazy fast for basically a canoe. Only reason is the width allows you to get into more areas in the mangrove tunnels on a Gheenoe.

Gulf of Mexico inshore slam is a trout , a red fish , and a flounder 😔 I’ve never got one .. but I have a gheenoe now 🤣.. good fishing guys !

My Dad has caught flounder in Bull Bay, so it is possible. Trust me, that wasn’t what he was fishing for… but you take what you can get.

Snook and Redfish we are not able to harvest in this area the last few years because of the dropping numbers.

Upper Gulf has no snook, so substitute with flounder
