    What a shame the gas mask on his backpack isn't detatchable so you can fit it onto his helmet like blowtorch's mask. that was always my favourite feature on that particular figure

    Version one/1992 Bullet-Proof is a really great looking figure. It’s a simple design but it works and is realistic looking to actual military uniforms

    My son had him and used him as a jungle trooper. I had to glue his mic to the helmut so it didn't get lost. Seemed like a good figure, too bad Hasbro didn't keep that type of paint theme with other figures from the 90's.

    The yellow camouflage pattern helped Bulletproof blend in with street lights.

    Very nice review of the G.I. Joe Bullet-Proof, it sure does look like a very good action figure. It's definitely a must have for dedicated vintage G.I. Joe collectors. Thumbs up for another great video review.

    The Helicopter is the same color as the tan paint on his uniform. That makes him qualified to fly it in my book. Plus he's got an Air Force belt too.

    While I must admit, I probably prefer the tan, the yellow still looks pretty excellent, and that's the one I'd buy, since I don't want a purple file card, or light up gimmick, or the fact he's part of DEF. So, V2 all the way! Top tier!

    I have since gotten my V2 Bullet Proof, and man! Is it tough to put that missile launcher in his hand, and get it out. I had to pry it out with a screwdriver. Lol. Good thing I didn't scratch or break anything. I won't be putting the launcher in his hands very much. His other three accessories are superb though.

  • @lostonwallace1396

    He would have been much better with black boots, gloves, belt, etc instead of the tan or yellow. That would have looked better with the green. The head is good. It's well sculpted and painted, but the uniform paint is pretty lackluster overall. My cut-off point for collecting Joes is 1987 and some from '88. After that, they just began getting too far afield for me.

    That always bothered me.

      That's what I was going to comment on. Apparently the artist didn't get the memo in time. Then Hasbro didn't bother to make a change for the '93 update.

    Kinda strange the figures were advertising the DIC cartoon since the DIC cartoon was canceled in January of 1992 and I'm not sure if this figure was available by then so their basically advertising a show not premiering new episodes.

    • @user-si9fx4xb6v
      @user-si9fx4xb6v 4 роки тому

      Maybe the toys were delayed in getting released to retailers, and their was no time to correct the packaging before the DIC cartoon was canceled. After all, quite a few of the 1980's action figures took a while to appear in the Marvel comic book series, with some( such as Iceberg) appearing when the only way to obtain them via mail order from Hasbro.

    • @diggitydave75438
