Connor was wise to get his hands on that camera and make a video. So much hype with it that I want one even though I don't need one.... Glad y'all went old school with a video. Congrats on the new baby. Happy Thanksgiving
I have been using the Pocket 2 extensively since it came out, so I was so happy to see DJI make the EXACT improvements I wanted for the Pocket 3. Already used it quite a bit on my trip to Japan that I just came home from. Love how heavily you an grade the footage and it still looks good. Incredible value for money camera. So you’re saying if I just call Dave I can unlock tons of views? 😂 #justcalldave Cool thumbnail design Dave! Congrats on the new baby! Three boys! Generative AI is just so dang good! I use it all the time the time for real estate.
Only one of those cameras is “game changing”… and it’s not the Sony A9III. The Sony is too niche to truly be significant. Case in point, imagine if the iPhone had the same adoption rate as the nothing phone. The A9III simply is too compromised in areas that most photographers do not want to compromise. Namely, ISO performance, noise and dynamic range. The DJI OP3 on the other hand is an amazing tool. It excels at its designed purpose so well, that it instantly rendered all the competition obsolete.
thanks for your comment! don’t you think the fact that they have made a global sensor with the performance it has makes it “game changer”? i for one am impressed. osmo pocket is awesome
It’s fast… but so were the global shutter CCD sensors. This camera looks to have about the equivalent noise performance and dynamic range of cameras from about 10 years ago. I expect more for $6,000. What Red achieved with Komodo and its global shutter sensors was game changing… can’t wait to hear the complaining when people realize that Red patented that tech six ways from Sunday. If it was truly impressive it would be in Burano… which it is not. And rumors have it the flagship A1 Mk2 will also skip this “game changing” sensor. Is a hard pass for me.
Congratz on your new son! I only have 1 son and he is almost 2 now, he's quite a handful, can't imagine 3 boys hahaha
Oh, your are coming to Germany? Nice!

Global shutter means nothing to most stills photographers, and do gimbal cameras.
