Ahhh thanks bro! It was such an epic day. We have conditions similar to this fairly often...but not often this perfect. It was a treat.
I'll try get some footage of looping the 11m from the GoPro mounted on the pole some time, to show timing.

Amazing conditions eh! The swell is 5m+, long period, deep southern ocean swell. It grooms everything inbetween it.

My GoPro is mounted on my helmet.
I prefer the angle of the mouth mount but it's so much easier to focus on kiting without having to chew on the mouthpiece . haha

I was on my blue 11m Orbit, then switched to Red 9m Orbit. Then the afternoon session i was LIT on my 8m. haha

Yeah bro.
Once you get the timing right with the Orbit you can loop it safely, and sometimes get a full catch.

Yeah, it's a strange old thing, the kiteloop. If you have the right edging and timing you can loop any size/shape kite...but your timing has to be by feel and also know how and where to steer the kite after the loop.
A standard boost to megaloop is super powerful, but if you take off with lots of speed (across wind) and loop late, you can make it so much softer and smoother.
My first 100 kiteloops were mostly powerful and unpredictable, but i gradually figured out why some were high and easy/soft and learnt how to do them like that.
In short.....you defs can loop your xr9m, but it will spank you if you don't do it right 😉 😏 😜 .
Always fully powered on your bar, even over sheeted will help the kite loop quicker. Send it
