The Lord Of The Rings 1 2 3 At The Oscars 4/4

- This is a tribute to what I think is the greatest film ever, a collage of all the 0scars the trilogy got, and a bit more, for all the LotR fans out there. Couldn't find anything similar, so did it myself by gathering all the single clips from various places on youtube (asked the original uploaders for permission, but no replies; I hope you'll enjoy it ^_^). Initially made for my private collection, but thought I should share it with all fans.
Special thanks:
ladysnaps for the intro (check out her video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHwhz4...)
Talnah86 for many LotR RotK clips
MrCache73 for various clips
costanlegolas for various clips
Domaynia for the wonderful ending clip
(and Peter Jackson for this most amazing film)

Just to make it clear, I DON'T make ANY money with this, should there be any ads, it probably goes all to youtube as I did not activate it.
The full version and part 3 have been deleted by youtube. Apparently the Academy doesn't want the world to have access to their previous events, for whatever reason. Therefore it's very likely that this video will soon be removed too. Enjoy while you can. - Фільми й анімація
the orchestra had an easy job that night. Only had to practice one score LOL
Haha true!
HAHAHAHA
Good one 😂😂
Hahahahahaha
WHO'S HERE AFTER 20 FCKNG YEARS???
WHAT A MASTERPIECE THEY'VE DONE
one movie to rule them all
One commentary to find them
one oscar sweep to rule them all
haha yes!!!!
One production company (New Line Cinema) to bring them all and in the darkness bind them!
Holy crap are we nerdy
I feel bad for anyone who had to compete with LotR back then. They may as well not have even shown up.
+John Doe Actually all the films that competed with LOTR then will have been winners today, it's just LOTR is the greatest film ever made. If it competed with Titanic or Avatar it would've won too.
Minority Report, Spider Man, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, Sea Biscuit, Moulin Rouge all will have won if they premiered after LOTR.
Me too man. I think that if Master and Commander came out a year later, it would have won 3-4 Oscars.
Well, to win with Coppola and Eastwood is great honour itself - so I admire PJ for winning in such company :) Nearly any movie in that year was great, and if LOTR was just one film at this show, it should not have won all 11 oscars, maybe just 3 or 4 - esp. for best adaptation and for director. As much as I'm geeky LOTR fan :) I dont think the other's did not deserved to win the "best picture category" - most of these movies were deserving "best picture". It was just that the academy wanted to awarded all 3 movies of LOTR and this was the tragedy of all these great, great movies :) All these movies were great not just ROTK, but ROTK was deserving for being the last episode of the 3, and for being the first fantasy epic in the movie history to be enough good to be even considered for an oscar :)
So as City Of God, an amazing brazilian film, so bad it competed with LOTR
Fernando was just happy to be there honestly.
My favourite words of Spielberg - "its a clean sweep" :D I do remember watching this show in 2004 and it was about 5h at dawn, and I was jumping from my armchair with hands up with "v" for victory :D It truly felt as all of Tolkien fans and fans of fantasy were winning this night :) Jackson did something great for all of us - made one of the best movie in the history of cinema, and by this act he just quailed, silenced 30 years of laughing at the genre :)
"it's a clean sweep!"
Indeed it is
Long live The Lord of the Rings. It will stay in my heart forever in a special warm place :)
The absolute destruction of everyone and everything... My favourite cinematic trilogy
The Lord Of The Ring is the only trilogy I watch at least once every year with my friends and family.
Second Harry Potter.
Is hurts my heart that Jackson's parents didn't live long enough to see Lord of the Rings.
18 years and i cant forget this movie.
Never. It’ll stay in my heart forever.
Never! even for today.
Me too!! I even just re-watched it again
so in 2004, great actors, actresses, directors & producers lined up to hand over Oscars to LotR....simply the best.
Watching this 14 years after and I still got chills when Steven Spielberg says " It's a clean sweep!" and I still remember waiting for this moment till an early morning hours glued to the television. First time I've ever watched Oscars live and I didn't regretted at all!
Me too. I was more excited to see Peter Jackson get Best Director, but that was icing on the cake.
Peter, Fran, Tolkien, and the whole team are geniuses, but we all know this film trilogy wouldn’t be what it is without the hobbits and the rest of the cast. I don’t think there ever was a more perfect cast. That’s probably why there weren’t enough individual awards for all of them!
One thing was missing that night, though... Viggo!!
Yeah, viggo really was robbed here. He really deserved an oscar.
i love lotr so much, cannot describe it with words. literally if i could i would have just given all the oscars to them.
completely agree! such an absolute, absolute masterpiece.
Couldn't agree more! They all deserved the Oscars including wonderful cast! Andy, Ian, Sean, Elijah, Viggo, Hugo, Liv, Cate, Marton, Sean, Dom, Billy, Ian, Christopher, Karl, Miranda, David,...
Oh my god!!!!!! "The Godfather"'s director, Francis Ford and his daughter Sofia giving the Oscar to the screenwriters of "The Lord of the Rings" it's awesome. That two trilogy's are really exciting.
Saúl Alí yes ❤️
A note to the organisers from Academy, let these technical people, the people behind the cameras, the people in the tech rooms have their moment. Increase their speech time. The actors and actresses enjoy their share of limelight anyways. But these people are who makes a movie what they finally turn out to be. Give them their due.
So true :) It was not until LOTR production (aka Jackson's travelling circus of over seventy trucks) :) helped us see all those hard work and many details from "behind the scenes" documentaries (on ext. dvd) that I as a cinemagoer have started to truly appretiate the invaluable jobs of technical peoples esp in the big budget productions. Now I know the names of Richard Taylor or Gino Acevedo as well as diCaprio or Johanson.
The other films got slaughtered
LOL Clint Eastwood, "Goddamn Lord of the Rings..."
A well deserved clean sweep! My favorite live action film! =)
The greatest Trilogy ever screened. Thank you everyone for making this Trilogy.
I love these movies and I'm still so pleased Return of the King won every award it was up for, but that had to have been a super boring night for everybody else at that show :P
Every couple years I rewatch the 3 movies
the best trilogy ever
its my generations star wars...and to be honest i'm privileged to bare witness to it.
As someone who grew up in the Star Wars generation, I prefer LOTR
Its funny how people even try to compare movies like Harry potter, star wars or tv series of fantasy to these 3 masterpieces.
It still astonishes me that it got a clean sweep of the oscars. Goes to show you what an epic film it was!
Watched it over 50 -100 times and still having tears when watching the trailer. That's something.. I think it reminds the childhood..
Thank you for the post. A true homage to the greatest trilogy ever made!
Getting a tattoo soon to pay homage to this absolute masterpiece. Never want to forget it!
what kind of?
sounanya3 Something in Elvish, maybe the song name Aniron.
I see ^^
Emma Mellgren so where is ur tattoo:)
You ever get it?
The other movies never stood a chance!
i miss the lord of the ringsㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠit ia my favorite movie i ever seen.
Now that i watched this video, i have to rewatch the trilogy again the 74th time!
And i am happy to watch it infinite times :D
@10:15 I just love at the Best Motion Picture part when they pan across all the different people, and you see Elijah Wood & Dominic Monaghan looking for all the world like two very out of place Hobbits wondering how they ended up surrounded by beautiful elf people. XD
One ring to rule them all
One trilogy to rule them all
Absolutely a masterpiece.
thank you for uploading this all video.
oh my the ending thanks for making me cry
Thank you for sharing this!
Great Film... I never forget it my Life.
Looking at this in 2023. LOTR fan since I was a kid back in 1964. What to me is remarkable now is how superior the competition was. I still remember watching Mystic River and Master and Commander when they came out and loving them also. Any other year but that year.....
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!
After so many years and actually knowing who wins, I still get chills and clap when they announce the winner. To say that I love these movies is an understatement!
Oh thank you for this! I went looking for a video like this years ago, I'm glad I found this now. :) Honestly, I couldn't find a single 76th academy awards video that's not dubbed anywhere on the Internet.
Big...ENORMOUS Thank you to you, sounanya3 for posting these videos! Have been looking for these videos for years! You are a marvel!
Thanks, glad I could help ^^
sounanya3
Part 3 was taken down? Anyway thank you a lot for the uploa; i live in France and it's hard to watch the Oscars: from-1am to-5am-and-on-web-streaming-laggy-as-fuck hard.
Bender B. Rodriguez Just click on the link in the description, and it should be there. But you are right, it's not shown in my videos anymore, I have no idea why, very strange..
sounanya3
it's the illuminati aliens who did it xD
+sounanya3 These LOTR Oscar videos deserve to stay up forever until the end of time XD love Lord of the Rings so much!
Thank you for uploading this!! I just rewatched the trilogy again for the first time in 7 years and got nostalgia chills from when I was a kid, watching the films in theaters in the early 2000's and watching them take home the Oscars on tv. Glad this footage lives on on UA-cam
you're welcome. check out dailymotion for part 3!
I am watching these movies again with my son now.. here just to reminisce about the best of the best
These films will always have a special place in my heart. Even though released almost 20 years ago, it still looks so good to watch. I'm so glad I was able to watch these films when they came out.
Same here
Last frame
Tears :'( :'(
Thank u for uploading it
Dream: Spielberg, Peter Jackson, Francis Ford Coppola on the same stage.
This movie has no competition up till date
thank you for the video
i love this movie big time... its meaning and how the story goes. thanks a lot.
Best movies ever made. 2020
Beautiful...
thank you so much for posting these. it was fantastic to watch. too bad UA-cam took one down
yeah, at least you can watch them on daily motion.
Thank you
5:51 wtf LOL
perks of being the director
La mejor trilogía, una de mis peliculas favoritas de toda vida con esas musicas de fondo que son unicas y te transportan una sensación de emociones únicas.09/24/2020
I got a JTV Lord of the Rings ad before this!
BRUTAL VIDEO.
one of the best, nuff said
Beautiful. So deserved.
Greatest Saga
The Middle Earth Saga❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank You Tolken
Magic and amazing
Worthy to watch💯😎
LOTR 123 the best movie of all time💯❤❤❤❤❤❤🌞 2023 still the best no one can compare
i'm here october 2022 and that "it's a clean sweep" scene is still giving me goosebumps. my alltime favorite trilogy 🤍
i miss the viggo, rhys, and orlando tho..
The win is so obvious
Shit I need to see these films on the big screen again.
Thank you Harvey
you can't argue with the explosive power of the greater force....in this case LOTR. unfortunate for all the other great movies that year to be up against the otherworldly LOTR. kudos to the academy for getting it right.
Epic
i am sad best actor awards didn't go to Andy!!!!!
or to McKellen and Austin :)
Everytime i start drinking i find myself watching this and theonering party video.
The Fellowship deserved more wins to be honest.
IMO the "weakest" of the trilogy, an EXCELLENT film nonetheless. There's no bad movie on this trilogy, but I think that as the movies got released, the quality was rising with them.
@@Nerokennedy99 For me personally it was 3 1 2 in order from best to worst
No other film director in history have made 3 movies at the same time..kiwi's deserves this
liv Tyler she is so beautiful
I pray 3/4 is found like the One Ring someday.
haha, it should still be on dailymotion
@@sounanya3 god bless u
Lol in the trailer they used scenes from Theodin's speech while dubbing it with Aragorn's speech.
Best thing in film history, period.
Great upload, thanks. I wonder where Viggo was though? I'd love for Peter to go back and finish the trilogy properly. I think the Scourging of the Shire has enough exciting events to make another movie.
I think i read he doesn't believe in award shows.
Congratulations
Pretty annoying, that youtube has deleted part 3 and the full version,
- And no explanation ........
bloody youtube blocking the 3rd video, how dare you
Imagine being up against the greatest films ever made, you just can’t win 😸
Peter Jackson looks like Mick Foley
Looks like Stanley Kubrick, lol
Jack blacks older 😂brother
😀 👏👏👏 Lord of the rings all the way
Caramba, nunca parei pra pensar que Cidade de Deus tinha competido com Senhor dos Anéis por um Óscar.
Best movies ever made till 2022🍰
My God, that guy won't shut up.
Fellowship of the Ring is better than A Beautiful Mind and Two Towers is better than Chicago, but at least the best movie in the trilogy not only got Best Picture, but also swept every category it was nominated for. An epic achievement that, twenty years later, is slowly dawning on me will never be duplicated, for better or worse. Maybe with Dune Part 2, but I doubt it.
Bello
Poxa, muito triste Cidade de Deus não ter levado nada, mas O Retorno do Rei mereceu
13:15 that giggle tho…
Peter thanks at tolkien please without hem all your cast Will be nothing, how viggo mortensen missing this glorius moment mr.ozburne did it
Dude where is Viggo?
American Splendor is a great movie too!
*definitely
The movies they are up against would’ve won any year. If they’re not against lotr
I wish Middle Earth was a real place
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
