As an LLC, no one will know you are the winner. Make copies of the winning tix when you see the attorney. Establish a "Trust Fund" so you are taken care of for the future. Be smart if you win. Pay you bills, then enjoy life.

And I would assume that would include taking you to court with outlandish claims you owe them. And you know the news goons would be all over a story of someone in their state winning $1 Billion. I just saw while checking winning Powerball numbers that the state of Oregon (my state) on the payout for winners, there is an additional 9% value tax ON TOP OF REGULAR 8% STATE AND FEDERAL TAX. I did not know this. What a bunch of greedy bastards. Would you believe Calif (and Delaware, plus a couple of other states) DOES NOT have a state lottery tax? You would think Calif would tax winnings. But they apparently don't. Go figure.
