Hey there Robb! Can't go wrong with a Black Sabbath drum cover! You played it so solidly. It was impressive how you recovered that dropped stick and kept on playing! Nice save goalie!! 😂🤣
Thanks Darren! I literally laughed out loud when I saw the footage of me dropping that stick and the reaction on my face....so figured I go with this take! All in good fun. Always appreciate your comments my friend!
Sorry but it can go wrong. MrRobb doesn't play wrong though
he doesn't play like Bill Ward in Black Sabbath.
If you want to see how Bill Ward played, search here at
YouYube. Type "Paranoid sina drums".
Sina plays exactly like Bill Ward. It's a bit more complicated
to play as Bill Ward.
Classic tune Robb and perfectly covered my friend well done 👌🏻🥁👍🏻
Thanks Mark! Appreciate your comments.
Brilliant cover of this early Heavy Metal classic, Rob! Thanks to your tight playing and the outstanding audio mix, this even sounds better than the original version! This song is believed by many to have started the genre of Metal in general, so it‘s in fact a perfect pick for #metalmarch24 ! Nice save on that drumstick fail, you‘re a true professional! Rock on, my friend! 😃👍🥁🔥👏
I remember hearing this album for the first time when I was about 14....I didn't know what to think. I knew it sounded a lot different then what I had been listening to!! (Probably Beach Boys! LOL ). Thanks for your awesome comment!

Yes! A pure classic! Sabbath was a definite huge influence and a pre-cursor to 80s metal before it was invented! Way to rock it, MrRobb!

Thank you so much Earl! 😀
Man that snare. Sorry for the following story lol...this snare sound reminds me of the first time I ever played on a stage with the kit mic'd up. It was at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, CA. I set up my drums and the soundman mic'd it all up. Then he went behind the board and asked me for the kick. That first boom was something I'll never forget. Then he asked for the snare and how it rang through the entire club was just magic! It sounded very similar to your snare sound here.
Anyway, sorry again for the novel lol! This was an awesome cover and performance, man!!
No apology required! That is an Awesome story!!! I never played the Roxy (obviously)....but I remember my first gig at a bar with a 'real' P.A. and I share your experience / thoughts. I'll never forget that sound either. Like Holy **** !! Thats MY drum Set....Boom! Crack! Boom Boom Crack.

Awesome Robb! Such a great classic tune, and I love your tight pocket and the tone on that snare. And the stick fail is actually well-played by you -- you even got a shoulder shrug in there and didn't miss a beat!! Cool stuff Robb!! 👌👌🤘🤘💥💥
