Hi Anna, Thank you for your video! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind :) 1. What prep solution do you use to wipe the nails? 2. Would you recommend this system for someone to do it at home? 3. Would you link affordable options for a heat lamp & uv light lamp? 4. Would you use and remove dazzle dry as regular when using IBX treatment?
Looks great, still a bit shiny but very chic look. How did the subject's nails feel after everything dried? I would like to see a follow up after a while to see how it did as a nail treatment
Hey David, Anna has done this treatment on my hands quite a bit and from my experience I don't really notice a different in feel per se. They do look much healthier mind you. Once it's done it isn't shiny looking. This treatment has to be done on a regular basis (something like 12 treatments, which on a bi-weekly basis would take 6 months.) according to IBX. Hope that helps - MSL
What is the purpose of curing it and do you think it would it be effective without curing? I only use regular polish so i'd prefer to not have to buy a uv lamp.
Hi There! It is a curable monomer system that requires a uv/LED lamp to cure the product. It is not effective without being properly cured in a uv/LED lamp. To learn more about the IBX Nail Treatment system please follow the link famousnamesproducts.com/education/ . Thanks! - MSL
It needs to be heated up so it soaks in and then cured in the nail. If you don’t cure it it will not stay in your nail. It will wash out. It’s a professional treatment that requires training. If you want to use something to repair the bonds in the nails try OPI Repair Mode. I talk about it in the recent videos
Hi Anna. Too much work for me. You have shown this treatement to use awhile back, have you been able to find any clients who have been consistant with their manicures and the treatment to see how well it really works? :)
Hi Laurent! It’s difficult to find clients that are consistent. That’s the problem. That’s why I started using it on MSL to see how realistically it works when done every 2 weeks or so
Hi Laila! No I haven’t. I googled it but their marketing makes me not really even try it. Vitamin C and Folic acid? Yes, when ingested maybe and not applied on a nail. 😉 That’s like saying that you can get drunk applying some alcohol on your nails because alcohol can cause that. Yes, when injected in high amounts 😂 Looking at the ingredients Citric Acid is pretty much the last ingredient. I’m sure it’s in a very small amount. They are going too far with these claims. Seriously 😉
Ok thanks for your prompt reply! I want to try the Mavala, think you used it on your mom's nails. Honestly your videos are THE most informative and trustworthy. Thank you for all your expertise!
Hello Laila! Thank you so much! Mavala would be great if your nails are bendy and flexible. It's not designed for thick and hard and brittle nails. I will be posting a video today where I use the Mavala on my mom. You will see why, her nails are quite flexible and that's why I used it.
A Dermatologist said that the UV Led lamps cause skin cancer. The video says gentle heat one minute and then 4 minutes. If getting a regular manicure, the safest bet is to allow nails to air-dry naturally, avoiding the drying lamps.

@@TheSalonLife Thanks! Do you think regular polish can be used on top? And what about a mini space heater instead of the lamp?

Hi Anna, are you familiar with Nailtopia Orange treatment, for splitting nails?

@@TheSalonLife Hi Anna, I sent you pics on IG of different days of Mavala treatments. Any other suggestions?
What is the shiniest gel topcoat?
Hi Nidaa, we're not entirely sure which gel topcoat is the shiniest. Have a great day - MSL
