- SCP 1983 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as Doorway to Nowhere.
SCP-1983 -1 is a one-story farmhouse in Wyoming. It was abandoned in 1968 after a series of ritual murders, allegedly performed by a "Satanic" cult.
The front door of SCP1983 -1, when opened, appears to contain a spatial anomaly. Neither matter nor light has been observed to exit the doorway, save for instances of SCP-1983-2 (though the anomaly is exothermic).
SCP-1983-2 are bipedal creatures approximately 1.8 meters tall. They are vaguely humanoid, and entirely black in color. They are highly aggressive and will engage any human on sight. When an instance of SCP-1983-2 comes into contact with a human, they extend an upper limb into the human's chest cavity, without any apparent damage to skin or tissues. Through unknown means, they then extract the heart, killing the human.

I'd like to imagine that Jackson didn't die here, and became an interdimentional SCP-slayer much like the Doomslayer.
Perhaps he found SCP-5000 "the Suit" and together they become a playable protagonist of a demon hunting video game.
I remember reading this one and it doesn't say what the D-class did. It was assumed he succeeded since the farm house was now normal.
I like to think of the D- Class as the Noble 6 before the Noble 6.

I'd like to think that Jackson survived his assault on the cursed cabin and is now living his best life as a free man.
True after the cabin was destroyed, he could have just exited through one of the door (probably the one from his childhood basement) before the cabin collapsed!
It was another video about this scp that said he went own to own a barber shop or some type of store and he was pretty much a free man now.
I like to think he might come back as an scp.

For anybody wondering, the other d-class awarded the posthumous medal of bravery could very well have been D-11424 from scp 2385!

This was one of the first SCPs that I remember in which a D-Class becomes a hardcore badass.
Day 108 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.

Problem with that suggestion: no one has ever displayed control over what SCP-1969 changes, and thus altering SCP-682 out of existence could also lead to a timeline where humanity never evolved, or the Earth formed outside of the Sun's habitual zone.
You cannot simply do that until all the other tests fail. Let the lizard swim in the acid for some time.
If you do that they might team up see the scp Hunter in the dark SCP 682 knew and use it to escape so no please I'm 05 I should know better.

Considering the tech the Foundation has, that doesn't seem odd at all.
The FN-57 exists.
Could be 5.7 ammo.
They look like miniature rifle rounds, and with good reason.
They are designed for increased velocity, higher chance of going though body armor
This is where one could say that the occassional D-Class can do some good every once in a while. To be awarded a Foundation Star of all things is probably something even the most hardened of MTF officials would respect.
Although, I wouldn't go as far as to say "Presume Neutralized", as well before the Foundation even caught wind of this....well, we know what what happened. I would treat it as a keter class with far more than a skeleton crew.
The Foundation Star (name stated in the article but not the video) is considered one of the highest honor any Foundation personnel can receive. The catch being that a majority of the individuals whom have received one were awarded it posthumously.
As for SCP-1983, I think it's neutralize in that reality (so long as no one preforms the ritual that opens the door again) and is now a case of not our reality not our problem.

Oh? Strange, the document doesn't even name the D class. Or explain how they took out the nest. All the Foundation knows is that the D class went in and somehow neutralized the anomaly.
Um I remember he was a former convict who had great religious belief which is why he was recruited for this.
During that time he was living a new life but after he neutralize this SCP he really was never seen again.
Sorry to say but you've got your fun fact wrong. Jackson Parker was a D-Class who managed to prevent his termination by saving personnel from an unidentified monster who reacted to belief.
That's when he was pardoned and went on living as a server.
During the events described in this video, he was recruited from a restaurant in NYC to once again save the day with his unwavering belief. He was 55 years old iirc
As someone already said, after this event he was never seen again.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting the ending to actually end the anomaly, but I was surprised. I love it!

I personally want them to make a video or shorts about scp-6222 and it's extended logs. They're really funny articles and I've even added some logs myself
The problem with the 914 tests, aside from length, is that past a certain point it's pretty much just become a roleplay told through notes in the margin of each test. Though Leveritas is still right to say he's greatly improved them from what they used to be ever since he took over so many years ago, it's hard to imagine that at least some of his character's eternal frustrations in the logs _aren't_ just him venting about all the loopholes in the rules he can't just close without starting a dumpster fire.
In simpler terms, it's mostly sweet nothings mixed in with the attitude of a bunch of nerds and the way the logs are set up makes it a chore to try and find the juicy bits.

I’d like to know what happened to Jackson. Did he truly die when he took out the anomaly or did he manage to survive and now exists in a separate dimension from his home.
I remember finding that he did survive and became a server in a restaurant. One day, he was found by a foundation agent. The agent side he deserved the life he has right now for what he did. The agent then suggested that his calling was at the foundation and that they could use him. Parker agreed and decided to join the foundation.

As a Muslim I felt so happy. This literally never happens in any movies or games.
I really like the story of The Choir Boys, they remind me of Sisters of Battle, literally Soldiers that use faith as a literal weapon in battle, and somehow works.
I wonder why the Foundation did not call in the Horizon Initiative to deal with this, since the HI are extremely religious.

There are tons of stories and lore out in the world that deal with the darkness in the human heart, even from modern times. But the entities in this entry are literal darkness born from actual human hearts. Its kind of brilliant to take something spiritual/metaphorical and turn it into a literal horror; especially one that comes full circle by having that horror combatted and ultimately defeated by something likewise intangible but no less strong like unshakable faith in higher powers; even if that higher power is simply the order of the universe itself.
