Mon cœur est plein de nostalgie
Eisenhower saw the Autobahn at the end of World War 2 and was inspired to create the Interstate Highway System in the US when he was President.
Another idea stolen from us by America
World's first highway system
*built for cars. The Roman built the first highway system not Germany
@@donsevcik4317 Not highways but those were only roads for horses. Highway is meant for cars so its the world's first highway system. Germans did it first
@@somewherenear3003 That's why i add an asterisk and wrote "built for car"
Here because of Kanye
where did everyone go?
i am here
To rome 😂😂
Hermosos años.
Dutch car @ 6:58, visiting the neighbour and testing top speed :-)
And a Nazi salute from the attendant when they drive away!
6:43, That's the Hindenburg, right?
Probably, I suppose that the autobahn finished by '38, but could be earlier. The Hindenburg fell in '37
@@wftungstenIf its 1938 in this video, then it would the Hindenburg's sister ship, The Graf Zeppelin II.
@@wftungsten And Graf Zeppelin was withdrawn from service after the Lakehurst accident.
Het waren mooie jaren het derde rijk maar helaas mocht het niet zo zijn
Only for it to be nearly destroyed by 1943-1945
It acutally wasnt
Beautiful Germany before it was destroyed by ignorance. I wish I could’ve seen it. I saw it in 2004 but I know it wasn’t the same.
... you sure about what you're saying ?
Should have seen it in 1940 then , your fascist arse would be really happy.
@@Kubulek17 Yes.
See? Before the conflict, western reporting glorifies these projects just like modern China is portrayed
I feel like this vid should a been accompanied by some Wagner in the background
As you see only little of the work was done by strong, half-naked „Aryans“ with pickaxe and shovel. That are propaganda shots. The project did a lot to inspire civil engineering but had no overwhelming effect on the job market.
