Joe, that’s basically an air test. I’d like a repeat, just dig a 3’ hole with your scoop, put the same target in the bottom of the sand, refill the hole with wet sand. Repeat, just pull the string back out every 2-4”. Thanks for taking the time. In the water a PD of 8 would never fly.
Thanks Len...Just about done testing, now its time to show real digging..No doubt in my mind this machine smokes the TDI BH...but would have to say the TDI Pro and it would be a good match.
Hi Joe thanks for the tests.just to clarify MUTE MODE is iron discrimination. Here in europe patiently waiting for the machine.for them deep sand beaches.that never loose enough. Mike
Joe can you slow down on the sweep speed on deep targets and see if that makes it better to hear the targets. When your in waist deep water I don’t think you will be able to swing he coil that fast. Also that will give us a more realistic way how the machine will work in the water
Just about done testing, but you are correct..there is a trick to using the coil in the water for sure. Check out my latest video on how deep this thing is on a gold class ring. No doubt around 18 inchs. and read my reply to skulldivers question on coil use on that video..
Been following the detector forum. Seems like a good machine for beach hunting. I would request to buy one but I don't have a social media precense and I'm a bit leery of the 3' immersion limit with our rough California waters. I've always liked impulse machines and a big fan of the whites. Maybe I'll pick one up during public sales and a bit more water friendly.
Rough water I would not recommend this machine. It will false to much and more them likely the cables on the back would be damaged some how. This machine is a drysand..wetsand,..shallow water. calm water ...machine.
It seems even in the mute mode it still punches down deep? I think it still may be as deep as I want to dig, especially when the hole is trying to fill back in or hard bottoms. Keep digging them gold rings and sharing your experience with us who wish we could be doing the same thing, living the dream
unfortunately it will hit most bottle caps, think I did a test and it was 50/50 but these were old and wore out. I'll be out hunting more in July so keep a look out for info on that. And a Note, it's no way has the discrimination the Nox or similar does. One must consider it a beast of a PI with the option of discriminate if needed.
That's impressive picking up that ring at 16". I'll be keeping an eye on this machine. Any word on the anfibio I keep hearing rumors about beta trials being sent out.

Great video, great machine. I will have to ask my cardiologist if my heart is healthy enough to use that machine.
Wow that is impressive! Thanks for the video OBN!

It would be nice if he had iron beside the tube muting out & reading the ring
Incredible depth!!
very nice joe impressive
its a revamped tdi pro in a light weight package
I owned a tdi pro !! in tone mode you lose 40 % depth..
Great vidéo Joe !
I’d like to see you go over a few bottle caps to see how it behaves.

Joe Beechnut, thanks. I’m looking forward to more videos from you.
How is it in the saltwater waist deep? Some detectors don’t work very well in saltwater.
Can it cut bottle cap?
I'm Gunna need a bigger Shovel

Maybe you have poor earing cause it's OK at 17" means 18" easy in.tone mode 😎
