- Who else in this fandom is obsessed with this song lately? Kinda feel like it's most of us! Anyway TA-DAHH my first full length fan video that's not a crack video (sorry if crackvids are the only reason you're here, cuz I probably won't make another of those for a while).

This song is...almost frighteningly accurate for them.
It really is. I knew when I heard it that it HAD to be the first full length fanvid I made, I couldn't have picked anything else.
It came out after it was written so... maybe he was a fan of the book?
Doubtful but man that would be so cool >_
I love the sunglasses in the "You go too fast for me Crowley" scene. I love them aesthetically, they do suit that look very much and especially on him. And I am grateful they are there because if we'd seen the look in his eyes at that moment, we all would've died.
It would’ve been too much for our poor little hearts for sure xD
The way Crowley strokes the flask of holy water after Aziraphale leaves, like it"s the most precious thing in the world. This video perfectly sums up the unspoken love they have for each other - the way they stand so close together, the way they look at each other. Beautiful!
i came here because of a fanart i saw on tumblr and i thought the lyrics were something the fanartist made up and then I found out its a real song from 2003????? And I see this edit????? Tears are streaming down my face. Thank you.

Literally knocked me back first time I heard it xD it’s just such a good song even without using it for them.
I'm a latecomer here, but have others also noticed the magnificent work of the makeup artists? In the first scenes of the Garden, they seem proper angel and devil and so they do in the early scenes at the beginning of the third episode. Crawley had such a pale face, almost grey, not skin-like, and his lips seemed cold-coloured, Aziraphel has no natural colors either. Then he decides to continue as Crowley, he employs The Glasses, his skin turns more natural in the Roman scene, but still somewhat alien, until slowly in the present day they both seem more human and natural in their look.
These videos cut together these scenes which are perfectly built one upon the other. 👏👏😍🤩

I love the editing job you did, I think my favorite line was "Will you be my better nature?" and pairing that with the "they're all having miraculous escapes" bit.

And also!!! I love the parts that you paired with "What's with the angel?" and "What's with the devil?" cause I definitely see the POV of this song as being some bewildered angel or demon being like, "Can they ... can they *do* that?"
Oh and!!! It broke me when you paired "I'll see your heart and I'll raise you mine" (from Aziraphale to Crowley) with *not* giving him the holy water, and then also "you go too fast for me" bc yup!! Aziraphale sure is denying himself things he wants because he loves Crowley enough to need to protect him!!

This was my first time hearing this song and at first I was like "wow this is perfect for them 🥰" and then I almost had a stroke when it said "it all went pear shaped" because Crowley said that 💀🥲

Love it! The only thing I would have added (had I the skill to do these) is after the lyric “before it all went pear shaped,” I would have done Aziraphael ‘s “I like pears”
I debated doing that; but as I worked on it I really wanted to leave all the historic flashbacks in the bridges and chorus, with a small exception for eden at the end xD

Finally! I finally found a Crowley x Aziraphale, and your music choice is fantastic! I didn't even think of this song. Also, I just noticed but did they have the same hairstyle in the last scene? With the hair parting and the volume, was it always like that? Head-canon, they never left each other's side after the Ritz because the had no reason to separate after it.

I just noticed this but at the garden of eden Crowley's eyes are all yellow and as it goes on he gets whites in his eyes.
Yep! He’s still getting used to having a human corporation. As time goes on he manages to shrink them down to just the irises, but loses control of it in stressful situations (burning bookshop; holding the Bentley together) at least according to Neil on his tumblr ^_^

This is bullshit! this song shouldn't be 10 yrs old unless that was the first time the song writer read the book because it feels like this song was written after watching the series.
