Wow, one of the best videos I’ve seen on explaining how bumping the hair and how using bleach and using color are totally different. There’s a lot of great videos out there but not a little lot of good explanation about how the process actually happens and what happens and I love that you did that. Thank you so much for everything.!
This has got to be the best video out there explaining these colors and how they work I cannot tell you the damage that my hair has gone through just because affording a colorist. It's out of my control right now. I hope you have a blessed new year and thank you so much for taking the time to inform people like me about hair color processing.be blessed always
I cannot believe that with 10 mins on youtube I discovered about "hot-roots" and my hair stylist did not know about it and ruined my head with neon-orange roots and brownish lenghts, and then tried to blame it on me saying "you probably did something without telling me". Un believable. Thank you for the knowledge, I will never spend hundreds of my hard-earned money again to unprofessional people
Thank you so much! I currently have igora 7-57, 6-77 and 7-00 and it's a bit too copper for me. I don't want the copper. I want the warmth. What do you suggest? I really want a warm auburn color. Not too red and not too burgundy.
Got a client wanting this who has natural dark brown w blonde ends n wants to go to this auburn but with highlights tomorrow! So greatful for this video n the timing! Thanks for the tips ☺️
I definitely do the brown combo with my coppers. I also work with a lot of clients with brown skin so sometimes copper on it’s own can be too overpowering for brown skin tones ❤
Looks amazing! I did that today to a client but her hair was much darker, so i started with the roots and mixed 10 and 20 vol for the roots. It barely lifted! So now she has much darker roots and i am dreading the next appointment where she cones and i'll be dealing with a dark band instead of just a root touch up and gloss. Any tips on how to deal with that?❤
Can I please ask what is the upkeep like for this colour and how quickly it can fade? I am considering getting this colour tomorrow but wouldn’t want it to go a lighter orangey colour whilst it fades
This is beautiful! I have been brunette all of my life and went red yesterday… I wanted a coppery red and I ended up with a purpley burgundy red. Do you have any tips or ideas on how to bring warmer copper, browns and gold tones into my hair? Thank you! ❤
Perfect colour!! I usually use igora Royal with a combination 6.77 7.57 . Last time o used also 6.88 and became very red!!! In order to achieve your colour combination should I use colour remover first?? I aso have white hair. Should I put also 7.00 only in the roots? Developer 10 and 20 as yoy say in the video too??
Hi thank is sooo help, your amazing! I went to a hair dresser who turned my head into a carrot top (super copper) although I wanted your client’s luscious auburn color. Do you recommend using just natural/neutral brown tones or any ash colors to counteract the copper?
Hi just wondering if you could give me some advice? I currently colour my hair with Igora royal 7-57 (60g) + 6-77 (30g) with 20vol developer. I do like it but I just want to tone down the vibrancy a bit and go to more of a deep auburn colour so regrowth isn’t as noticeable.. I’m a natural warm brunette level 5. Would your formula work on already copper hair? It’s exactly the colour I’m looking for it’s gorgeous! ❤
I would add Igora 600, just a little and it would darken the 677 & 757 a little but not make it too dark. Thats what I did and I love it, it’s perfect auburn.
Hi!! Quick question- Would you use this same concept for formulating a root touch up natural lvl 3 trying to achieve a level 5/6ish warm chocolate/copper brown (slightly darker than your final result here)? Would something like Igora 6-6 with 30 volume work?
Awesome hair video. I’m wanting to go back to coloring my hair red, and really feel you address all of the common issues I’ve seen like hot roots. Do you by chance provide consultation services long distance? I’m in the us Florida.
Hi! Looks gorgeous!! How long did you leave the vol 10 developer on her roots before doing the rest of the hair. And how long did you leave the rest of the hair to process? Thanks!!
Omg thank you so much!! I’m doing this exactly sooo helpful and I’m a natural 6/7 also! Question, I have bleached ends from old color that faded so it’s basically a faded copper bleach yellow color and my roots are dark, so would you suggest I use 10 volume for my whole head and start with my roots?
@@BobbyHairStudiothank you much for responding that’s rare nowadays! I couldn’t find the 6-46 in the regular formulation only the absolutes one, is that okay?
I haven't used absolutes, so there might be a slight colour difference or depth change there but over all same colour brand and same "formulation" should probably look very similar!
If I have dark brown natural color with highlights could I use the same volume developer ? 10v at roots and 20 at ends ? Or what u recommend? I’m in love with this color!
I really wanted a chocolate brown. Went to a profession who gave me blonde highlights. Hated it. Used Schwarzkopf color remover and used this video to help me do my own hair. My color turned out very similar to this and I’m obsessed! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think I would use a 10-15 vol on extensions but it really depends on the extension itself. Virgin hair extensions? Yes I think so, but dark coloured extensions probably wouldn’t take this colour. On blonde, I would just use a 10vol
😍so beautiful! I would really appreciate a respond. I have many greys (although im young) and so far i‘ve learned that 10vol doesnt cpver any greys.. so how could i use your great formula but with 20vol, or do you maybe have any tipps? Oh and maybe you could answer one more question 🤭.. i‘m a level 5, can i use the same formula? Thanks so much! 🩷😘 new follower! Love your videos!!
Well i couldn‘t wait and dyed my hair anyways 😃 i went with the 10vol on top and 20vol on the rest of the hair, so far it covered all the greys! No hot roots thank God! The only thing is that the color is a bit darker than your clients.. what could i change for the next time? Thank you so much 😘 hope you find the time to answer
I'm so confused 10 v on roots and 20 on the rest? . I thought 10 was just to deposit. So i figured 20 v on roots bc the color needs to lift and deposit and 10 v in the ends to just deposit with 30 mins to process so she doesn't get hot roots. Have i been thought wrong? 😂 We use matrix so maybe why.
With Schwarzkopf I find this is the best way! The 10 lifts enough to reveal warmth, and the 20 lifts and deposits on those cooler zones like the mids to ends!
Her blonde was a level 8 and her colour included so much warmth, that a fill wasn’t super necessary since we were only going down 2 levels. The hair still got oxygen in the wrap, I just wanted to keep things warm as it can get cool in the salon (and I get a little nervous leaving any colour work out in the open unprotected against temperature changes) just incase!
I brought that exact picture to two different hairstylists and I left with penny copper both times :/ ditching the idea and just going blonde next time
Hi!! I learned so much from this video and am so grateful to you for reaching so many of us!! 🤍 I have a quick question though, could I use the same formula you used on someone with level 3/4 hair? Would it be similar but just a little darker?

Thankyou - top tip about adding in chocolate .this stops it being too orange and enriches the red .
YES! I love adding chocolate to my red formulas! It’s so rich and deep, it adds depth in the shadows and a beautiful mahogany tone in the sunlight!

@@devany7358what is your natural level? And what ratio of the colors are you using?
How much developer do you add to the formula? Love this video!
@@devany7358I’m thinking 6-6 chocolate blond
That’s beautiful, she looks amazing! Warm tones always make everyone look so pretty 😍
I totally agree!
Gorgeous! My stylist helped me go red😊 I was a dark brown. I wont go back. I am the same color as your client. Fabulous work! She looks amazing!
Yes! Thank you!
Oh wow, wow wow! The colour of her hair is absolutely beautiful. Truly gorgeous. You are so very talented. xxxx
The color turned out beautifully.

I totally agree! Adding beige or even a bit of a cool brown to the copper helped to tone down the vibrancy a bit!
The dimension!!!!!! Wow this turned out stunning
Best tutorial that I’ve seen! Thanks for sharing! So helpful!
Gorgeous colour! Thanks for sharing your formula.
Thank you! Cheers!
So beautiful !! Nervous to get hair done at place because I feel red is so hard to master but yours is GORGEOUS 👏🏻
I love this color. I'm planning to get this next month.

Did you get it done in the end? How much did it fade?
Gorgeous color on her!
I think so too!
Love it, the lady that did my hair hot rooted me..... I hate that! You did great with the roots.
Love your explanations. FYI you could have gotten that EXACT color with just a bottle of Wella Light Auburn. It would have been exact.
how to keep this color? do you recommend any shampoo, conditioner or any product that resembles this color?
Thank you SO much this is exactly what I've been looking for for HOURS!!! You're a lifesaver
You're very welcome!
Gorgeous results and great explanation of the process, gonna subscribe!

She has such beautiful hair afterward.
I can’t find the 6-46 on Amazon in the regular formulation only the absolute formulation, is that okay to substitute?
Beautiful...💜🩷 From a natural redhaired..🤩
Did her previous balayage affect the overall color? If she did not have this previous balayage, would you use the same formula?
I feel like on a small level it did! Bleached ends usually end up lighter (but also don’t tend to retain vibrancy as well as virgin hair)
@@BobbyHairStudio Interesting! Thanks for the reply :)
This is exactly what im looking for! I hope you see this. How would I get this color using a Demi permanent?! I’m struggling 😭

Can I bleach my dark hair and use the color you used
Can one achieve the same coloe by using the same or should you visit a salon?
Do you think this same formula would work on dark brown hair without lightening? I’m probably a 5/6.

How about auburn deep ? Like there are a lil bit purplish

Is this a low maintenance color? What does up keep look like?
How would you formulate if her natural was a level 3/4?
What kind of developer did you use? And how much for short hair?

Wow! Love!!
How long do you let it process for ?
The full processing time according to the colour! Usually 30-45 mins depending if it’s vibrance or Royal
How much volume 1:1 ?
Developer is 1:1
I'm so confused
10 v on roots and 20 on the rest?
. I thought 10 was just to deposit.
So i figured 20 v on roots bc the color needs to lift and deposit and 10 v in the ends to just deposit with 30 mins to process so she doesn't get hot roots.

did u use the balayage technique or did u put the color on her whole hair?
Why didnt you use a pre pigmentation? In which case would you use one? Why did you put a cap on the colour? It needs oxygen. Thanx, nice result😍
