What is happening to the shopping center on Bluff street with the defunct Kmart? Habitat for Humanity Restore is moving to Hurricane and several other businesses appear to be moving out.
They have plans to renovate the entire complex which is why several of the businesses are relocating, but haven't any confirmation on stores will be going in yet. Hopefully soon!
Maverick, small hotels, Costa Vida, tanning salon, Indian food (2nd location), Ross, apartments, Red Barn, car wash, Walmart grocery addition, new freeway exit. Predictable sameness in Washington County. Can we please do better!
I'd love to see locally owned restaurants with new cuisine and good atmosphere, an indoor/outdoor food truck village, better grocery stores, indoor activities for kids and families that are not arcades, venues for teens with live music, healthy fast food, batting cages, brewery with hard kombucha, legit pizza joint, legit bagel shop (not a franchise), possibly even a bigger corporate restaurant like a Cheesecake Factory or BJs, fine dining where people can dress up, fun nightlife...
Apartments right next to the freeway, yay! Another car wash? What is with you people needing 2 car washes per block? I’m still holding my breath for decent Mexican food. I’ve tried everything and it’s just not here. Overall this area is great, but very monotonous . “I love all the bland strip malls” said no one ever about a great town.
@@951media I completely agree with you on the Mexican food, we do not have one decent Mexican food place. The ones we already have here fall short in one way or another. I want one that is a 10 out of 10. In order to qualify as 10 out of 10, they need to have excellent chips and salsa where the chips are hot and fresh with the perfect amount of salt, and the salsa needs to be fresh, and the flavor perfectly balanced. The food needs to be on par as well, with fresh made tortillas, fresh pico, fresh guacamole, the whole nine yards! I will pay $$$ for good Mexican food! I wouldn't complain if we got a good Italian place too, because Olive Garden just ain't it!
Listening to your videos is so much more pleasant without the music blasting in the background. Thank you!! I really appreciate all the information.
So much growth, it just keeps going! New exit will be nice to have, that's for sure.
Agreed!
A Trader Joe's would be amazing.
Agreed
Agreed. Going to have to be somewhere else though. Word is it's a Burlington store

Any word on a grocery store coming to Washington?
Heard rumors of one in Washington fields but nothing confirmed yet

@@951media Los Tapitios just opened on Bluff St. next to Summit and i've heard nothing but raving reviews so far. You should check it out!
Trader Joe’s and Sprout’s Farmers Market.
Both would be awesome!
Hobby lobby?
Yes I heard it’s going where the old Kmart building is
