Thank you Julie for bringing these homes to the rest of us who can not travel, but enjoy your outings. Thank you.
Once again a wonderful saturday afternoon spent been taken through three beautiful properties in Yorkshire. Meeting the families that live there and listening to their histories and stories.
Julie does what Julie does best . She puts her interviewees at ease and draws out from them the beautiful nuggets of information that make this series so interesting. Julie's natural interest and good humour are infectious. She highlights these gems of Architecture and History and shines a light on the collective work of these families to preserve and maintain these historic Houses. These treasures are as much owned by the craftsmen ,tradesmen and artists whose work is seen here on display.
The video is beautifully shot and paced. Enough time is given to everyone to talk about what they know best.
Well done Julie and the Team. These threads are restored back into the faded Tapestry of History.Bringing colour ,vitality and bloodline continuity to the subject.
Loved this!!!
What grand and lovely tours! Enjoyed every square foot of each home! Thanks for taking us along! 🎉❤
I love these kind of video’s
If anyone is interested in how the Victorian Kitchen at Birdsall looks now, they have pictures on their website, they look amazing, including the disco ball!
@Dexdog I just had a look. Very impressive!!
I’ve watched this before but am fascinated by all of it again. Please Julie do visit these historic homes again so you can see their progress on their legacy projects. Great work!
That first home is lovely!
Oh Julie, you,ve have done the best presentation ever
Absolutely loved this❤❤❤
The blue room is my favorite also! I love the dining room too in the first house. The ballroom is fabulous! I love the kitchen in the second house. The yellow room, dining room and the long gallery are beautiful! All three houses were amazing! I enjoyed this video so much! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
lovely presentation! I enjoy your channel so much! Thank you!
my dream to be a housekeeper in such a home❤❤
I'm sure any of them would gladly take a volunteer house keeper lol 😆 😂 🤣
not to talk about hoovering must take days but i imagine such homes have domestic helpers and a gardener....😊😊❤❤lovely
Always great adventures, thank you
When I was I child, I heard the (repeated) stories of the three Howard brothers that came to MD in the 1600... As children, we remember those stories.
As you titled these three homes are STUNNING 🏰 🏰 🏰 Thank you Julie 😊 🙏 love your videos 📹 💖 😊
Thank you so much!
thanks😊😊❤❤
This is fantastic!
The colour pallets in the first house Constable Burton(??) are absolutely exquisite. How beautifully clean and bright Birdsall is. Love the staircase and yellow of Burton Constable(??), third one! So strange the first and third names are so close!
So..full.of..information..😅😅😅🎉❤❤❤
The sinks at Birdsall could be that low because the scullery maids were usually young girls 12 to 15 years old, I believe.
😊😊😊
these homes are amazing but with all those amazing paintings furniture for me too much i would be frightened of bulgary
thieves theft..i would need a big guard dog surely put outside and in
At 47 minutes and 52 seconds, do you have a Victorian child ghost caught on film on the far right? I can see a little child in lace-up boots.
It looks like a child, moving too.
Thing so if the bell rang they went up there and they had to come all the way back down to get whatever they needed and then go back up there remembered about the people that actually ran the place and worked
I discovered this recently and I'm fascinated, only (although I'm far from saying I speak English) I'm Argentine, but really, you can MODIFICATE THE OH! My Goshh, for a real English.. GOD, not GOSH,
At. 48:40 in episode two. There is an orb light.
An a shadow.
The shadow is probably a person behind the scenes, the light is the reflected sun light from the camera lens or another object most likely.
What’s the first house? Are the owners gentry or nobles?
