The screen is so beautiful in front of the window-door with the light shining through. How nice of you to share. I can imagine paying a designer a lot of money for this. I think one could also turn it 90 degrees to make a wonderful window shade.
This is absolutely amazing. The video flowed perfectly and was so easy to follow. As a lover of all things papercraft it got me excited to think about how much more of this hobby I have yet to explore. Thank you so much for sharing.
This tutorial is great. I think, I make it for my family;) Im Übrigen finde ich, dass du klasse englisch sprichst. Absolute Klasse!
Peter, would like to thank you for this video. I've been into origami for the past year and its beginning to get repetitive with buying extra special papers, but with this art its fun, simple and its never the same. Thanks!

@@Peter.Dahmen.Papierdesign I’m very flattered to get a reply from you. I just can’t get over how beautiful your designs are… Some of them must take many many hours. I do the easy simple designs that you have. I need to try and figure out the measurements of the cuts and folds.. And I love your accent! Peter, good health and happiness to you and your family on this new 2023 year! 🦋🌷🌝🌈🌎☺😉
@@charlenemack7040 Thank you very much for your kind words! Yes, indeed, my most complex design needed almost 5 month of creation time (time for the creation of the design). Hi Peter! I really enjoy watching your videos and i just wanted to say that your work is absolute perfection. Erstaunlich. I hope i can learn how to make things as good as you some day! =)
Thanks for the basics. Everybody shares templates only, that can helpful for exact same video. But I want to try something new that's never happen without basic, which is rarely shared.

Think of paper like actual mountains and valleys. If the paper is folded and looks like a triangle with the point up, it's a mountain. If it's folded and comes to a point down (looking like an upside down triangle) then it's a valley
This help me a lot for my structure class, thanks But do you think the model scaled would be stand without the wood supports? For my homework the structure need to be stand without any help just the paper
Hi XJX, many thanks for your comment. If you build the structure from paper (or cardboard), it won't stand without the wooden supports. MAYBE, it will be sturdy enough if you build it from corrugated board - but I don't know. You need to test it. Good luck!

What kind of paper would you use for a medium sized (bristle-board sized) project with this design on it? I feel like regular printing paper would be too weak...
Thank you so much for you quick answer I will try to do it!! I already did it on paper and looks mmmm might say OK but hope to do it better hehe. Thank you so much and congrats again!!
Hi Peter, I only knew the basic of doing pop up card (the simple mountain & valley folds). The problem is, i can only open it 90degree in order to see it appears 3D-like. I wish that I can learn the one that you can open 180degree with the detail popping out of the card, like a flower pop up card, etc. Can you do the basic tutorial of this type of pop up card? Just the basic, and I really2 appreciate that. :D
