A kind of human settlement or administrative subdivision will happen to the Legazpi Airport. This is the masterplan of the Local Government of Legazpi once the Bicol International Airport (BIA) operates on October 7, 2021 for Domestic Flights.
In an exclusive interview with #DZGBNewsOnline and #DZGBLegazpiAM hosted by VP Henry Maceda, Mayor Noel E. Rosal said that the 7 has. Legazpi Airport will be converted to a township and the City Hall will be transferred there for a more expanded service to the public.
Rosal also said that the old road traversing Barangay Cruzada will be restored in due time.

This is a national level projects, mga few more years grabe na ang pagbabago na mangyayare d lang sa Legazpi pero sa buong Bicol
It's good that the old Legaspi Airport will be turned into another Manduriao-type development in Iloilo City. I would hope they turn that old Tagbilaran Airport into the same kind of development. We need to scatter business opportunities all over the Philippines and not only concentrated in Metromanila. Congratulations to the Mayor of Legaspi for their forward-looking view.
