I love that the scalper in the intro has somehow found a way to make the hulkbuster baf wave profitable.
This looks amazing! Probably my favorite Lizard figure. I agree that the head sculpt looks like a dinosaur, more specifically a T-Rex....but that’s one of the things I really like about it. Cool review!

thats pretty high he's standing and i like the crouching pose also in the comics he is in that crouching pose in the comics so i see what there trying to do. Yeah he dose look like a velocorapter but straight on he looks pretty much like the lizard. 2018 is kicking off big, that apocalypse BAF is ganna be sick and that x-men wave is ganna be the wave the best of 2018!
That is a solid wave. I wouldn't pass in any of the figures as for the BAF, I think the Marvel Select is the best yet.

Great idea about getting another head to remove the tongue. I also think the head sculpt and lack of knee articulation is accurate to the way this characters been drawn since the 90s.
I’m a little mixed on the dinosaur-esque head, but then again the Lizard is one of those characters that has gone through the most visual changes (usually taking inspiration from different reptiles).
Nice review but did you check out the torso without the lab coat? Torn shirt and scales under that lab coat on his back! Crazy detail that most probably won't even see.

Killed it with all these reviews. Spider-Man waves definitely putting out the best BAFs.

Beto 2000 Dorkside toys has the individual Lizard BAF pieces for about 5 bucks; might be my first ever completed BAF, but I've never tried this before. I'm hoping to, though.
That’s just Albert just buy the BAF on eBay. That’s what I do. $60-$75 is better than $120-$140
The Absolutely Guy think that’s the best thing to do. Buying countless figures due to their baf pieces is wack as hell. I used to have so many unwanted figures and it drove me nuts
A exacto-knife to those knees may help get Lizard to stand up straight. Im gonna try it. Great Review Boog.

Every review you've done on this wave was great. Now with the review of the Lizard just clinched it for me. I am most definitely 100% buying this wave. I heard the street date is February 20th but please don't quote me on that.

I really wish they sculpted him to stand more upright and less restriction in the legs and allowed us the ability to pose him the way we want.

Great review! Definitely not a fan of the Raptor head,frog tongue, or the bug-leg tail. I think I'd rather have a solid good looking tail, or the awkward joints throughout it.

Other than the dinosaur head I think they really should have put larger bumps on his head. That really to me is what lizard looks like, almost like a green Gila monster. Also his tongue is just too long and they really should have put a bendy wire in his tail and made it rubber. The Kinks just completely screw it up if you move it

This is an amazing figure , but I kind of prefer the marvel select, in my opinion it looks better but it doesn't have the articulation that this figure has

Awesome BAF. The Lizard has finally become Marvel's answer to DC's Killer Croc. I think it's an even money fight now.

That thing is fantastic. Looks like the previous(which I would never buy) is Kermit. Like a Sal Buscema version vs a john Buscema version.

It's a good BAF I do agree on the tongue I wish the tongue was removeable also I think they went with this look on the head to do a slight modern day look since viewing online Connor head a ton of different looks even one he looked like an Iguana with spikes to a kimono dragon so it can be them using that as references

Looks like nick bradshaw's lizard drawings? I don't understand why so many people give this guy bad press simply for the head? Just as people have different thoughts on how he looks, he's had different looks over the years too. Look at his first appearance? Heck the classics wave ultimate lizard even had a twist on the design. Some of y'all be tripping.

I just see a BAF as a way they offset the cost of a more "Premium" figure, so putting movie figures, with bucks they probably wont reuse as a BAF makes monetary sense because people have had to spend upwards of $170 aud, to get the "Premium" figure.
Dinosaurs closest relatives are birds not lizards or reptiles which is why this head sculpt drives me nuts. Awesome review tho as always.

The one thing I hate about this figure, is its head sculpt. It's not bad, it's amazing! And it looks like a JP raptor head. WHY DID HASBRO HAD TO BE SOOO CHEAP TO US JP FANS!?!?!?

Friday Science Update: Lizards are way less closely related to dinosaurs than birds and did not descend directly from dinosaurs. They just share a pre-lizard, pre-dinosaur reptilian ancestor.

Dinosaurs are a group of *reptiles* from pre-historic times. Amphibians are not reptiles btw. There were reptiles who were not dinosaurs at the same time that dinosaurs existed. Dinosaurs all evolved into birds. None of them evolved into modern lizards. Only some species of non-dino reptiles who were alive then evolved into modern lizards.
If Connors was messing with modern lizards it's more likely that he would come out looking like a modern lizard than a dino (although not impossible).

C’mon Boog, that tail is horrible!!! In my humble opinion, it should have been a bendy tail or Hasbro should have taken a page from one of these foreign toy companies on how to properly articulate a tail. SMDH I also think that they made his tongue is too long.

Its not that bad in hand, it supports his weight. The sections make sense.
The way the tail is serves a purpose. I’ve actually gotten him to stand on one foot using the tail to help with the balance. Really solid figure once you have him in hand.
