- Pixel tubes are becoming an essential part of the modern wedding DJ setup aesthetic. Brand name options such as the Astera AX1, and the Chauvet Well STX 180 are awesome but cost-limiting. So how does the new 360 Titan Pixel Tube from Both Lighting compare? Join me as I put the Chauvet & Both Lighting head to head, and answer question, is the name-brand really worth the extra cost?

Thank you Daryl. I would never afford the Well STXs. Got me 4 Titan Tubes, plus I found 4 more tubes for $550 on FB Marketplace. Great review. Now I need to figure out what I'm gonna do with my OPPSK bars....
The both tubes definitely make them more accessible to more people. You can use them all together!
Damm they both look so similar at the end demo where they all do the same effect from dmx

Hey Daryl, I use the Chauvet DFI wireless system through SoundSwitch for my movers and uprlghts. Is there a way to add the Both tubes and use them in Universe 2?
You can run two universes at once with the control one or have a normal dmx dongle out of one of your up lights to transmit to tubes

That you can't close the case while charging is a safety feature.
The well stx 360 can charge with the case closed 🤷

What about the updated Chauvet Freedom Sticks X4? Set of 4 for less than both these options
If Chauvet sent me a copy, id love to review them
But the lights are pretty far spaced, so idk how well the dispersion would be
