Chauvet Pro Well Stx 180 Master/Slave

This video goes over the process to put your Chauvet Pro Well STX180 into Master/Slave mode for quick and non DMX control with the IR remote. For a successful connect, set your slave fixtures first and then your master fixture. From here you are all set and ready to roll. Do I need to have the lights on (like an auto mode) or something so they are lit up while I am changing the modes?

When I’m programming them for M/S the lights are on the last state they were running. (I.E- solid color or auto mode) and then I set them up for M/S.
