For the dough:
400g/3 1/4 cups flour
80g/5tbsp sugar
80g/5tbsp melted butter
200ml/1cup lukewarm milk
1 medium egg
15g/1tbsp fresh yeast
The zest of a large lemon
A pinch of salt
For the top:
2kg/50 prunes
60g/4tbsp sugar
30g/2tbsp cinnamon

My mother in law used to make this, I was having a conversation with my son recently, he is 28 and I was telling him about it , so now he wants me to make it for him , so I went searching on UA-cam, and here I am 😁 it looks exactly like hers did . She used to serve it with whipped cream . Thank you for sharing your skills and recipe

@ Yes she was German, from Hanover, but I met her in South Africa, where I was born and grew up. I now live on the west coast USA and also love to cook and bake. We are remodelling our kitchen (we bought an old house 6months ago) I have subscribed to your channel to get new notifications :)
