      tania rachelle definitely not what I meant..I love Crash Course, I just prefer this when it comes to biology because it's easier to understand. I think Crash Course biology is a little bit hard to get if you don't know the material..haven't tried any other sciences though

      I actually don't agree with you. Crash course is sometimes less informative and more general in the information that they give, but it's still a fun and pretty short way of enriching your knowledge about many interesting stuff... so I like it too.
      Anyway, Bozman's videos are very very helpful, there's no argument about that.

    This is a great video and series. The formula for a disaccharide is C12H22O11, and the ratio of hydrogen to carbon is not always 2:1, as it is for a monosaccharide. When two monosaccharides are combined, a water molecule is lost, reducing the H by two and the O by 1.

  • @mdqto12
    @mdqto12 6 років тому +25

    I'd like to report an error in your video:
    Sucrose has the molecular formula: C12H22O11.
    It slightly differs from the general formula of monosaccharides - (CH2O)n - because of the dehydration reaction that two monosaccharides have undergone to form a disaccharide.
    Anyway, kudos on your videos; they're very helpful. :)

    - Carbs are used as energy of the body
    -Sugars are a good thing (only in right amounts) artificially made sugars are not good that’s what increases health risks
