May I ask what substance you're painting onto the fret before it gets hit with the soldering iron? And what is the name of that neat tool that looks like a mini tomahawk that you used for cleaning the fret slots? Great video.

its not a paint, its a soldering flux,

Hi its just plain water. It turns to steam and aids a clean removal also prevents burning of the maple
