Sweetrobin is using the Moon Door to sacrifice people and empower his Weirwood Throne which augment his greenseer powers, warging multiple characters at once, such as Euron, Marwyn, Qyburn, Mormont's Crow, Aurane Waters, Gerold Dayne, Septa Lemore and Jeyne Westerling, his pieces in his plan to strike a fake deal with the Others. All the while he pretends to be palsy and secretly alters Maester Colemon's sweetsleep with dragonbone dust so he can have his glow up and marry Daenerys. This plan was concocted by his right hand man, Shagga, son of Dolf.
The Vale has the unique ability to shut themselves away from whatever war is going on this weekend in Westeros, and make a decision on what to do next. Unfortunately it also means that most of the Vale is isolated and often too busy fighting cavemen in sheepskins to pay attention to whatever’s going on.
Love House Arryn. I sometimes wish they leaned more into them literally being "above it all" to the point that we got a radically different culture in the Vale to the rest of Westeros. But as is, a bunch of compelling characters throughout their history (for better or for worse).
I was never really interested by Robert Arryn/Sweetrobin, but I think it would be so in line with Martin’s writing to see the sickly sweetrobin overcome the odds
1:19 Apparently Ursula Upcliff was a sorceress, and was about to curse Torgold Tollett. Tollett apparently took offence to this action, as he leapt onto her horse and tore her head off with his hands. What a madlad.
Would definitely like videos on: 1) The Children of the Forest, the Giants and Pre-Human Westeros. 2) The First Men and their migration across Dorne's arm. 3) The Andal Invasion/Migration.
I thought it was the other way around: that the Winged Knight was a legendary hero while the Falcon Knight was the Andal invader from House Arryn. Considering that House Arryn use a Falcon as their sigil that would seem to make more sense.
Artys Arryn is known as the Falcon Knight, hence, the Arryn sigil, from the histories. The Winged Knight is the legendary knight from the Age of Heroes who soared atop a giant falcon, married one of the Children of the Forest & slew the Griffin King.
Well the same could be said for Starks not dealing with wildlings. In reality its impossible to deal with mountain men because they can hide in high mountains of the Vale where no army can follow while targeting enemy's supply line and stragglers. Arryns are protected from other kingdoms by their great mountains but so are mountain men from Arryns themselves
One theory I like a lot is that the septa of Maergery, Nysterica, is the pox scarred Arryn girl and another theory I love even more is that she also the septa who gave birth to Tyene. In an Arianne chapter is said that once she crossed the Manderly with Tyene to see her mother who by that point might have been in Highgarden. I’d go as far as saying she could be the agent in KL that feeds rumours to Doran
I love these videos. I can’t get enough of them. Such a fun way to listen to the history of Westeros and the great houses. Keep them coming and I’ll keep liking and watching lol
Perfect day for this falcon viddy to fly into the world! 💙As always I love the use of all the sigils and the new map background is a great touch! Also 🥛 😄
I like them a lot, but it's a bit hard to take them too seriously when they keep getting kidnaped and killed by hill tribes. They really need to deal with that problem.
I don't know if you did that already, but it would be cool to see a video about Vale mountain clansmen, AKA the most based group of people in ASOIAF universe.
now that Andalos was mentioned at the start of this video, what ever happened there? The Valyrians never went to war with them only the Andals of Lorath. Andalos is in between Pentos and Bravos, do people still live in that area? do people still follow the Faith of the Seven in Essos?
People still live there, though it is under Pentosi rule now. As for the status of Andals, we don’t know. We do know not all Andals went to Westeros (since Theon Stark was mentioned raiding Andal villages in Essos) but we aren’t entirely sure if they have entirely assimilated by this time.
One of the weird legends about artys arryn was that he married and had children with a child of the forest making the entire line of Arryns her descendants
No idea if it's already been made, but I would like to know the full story behind the tribes that plague the Vale. It's strange how they manage to exist as independent tribes in an otherwise feudal society that they actively fight against.
I like Lysa's side-eyes at Jon Arryn...she clearly didn't want to marry old Jon. Kinda creepy that the double wedding was old Jon and his young ward Eddard to sisters a little younger than Eddard.
I have a feeling George will kill him off. Not coming from an anti-sweet Robin camp or anything, just seems like something Grrm would do to stir up trouble. But that's just an opinion....
Walked away watching history vids and came back to this. While it's not my cup of tea please have a lovely comment to help in your quest to defeat the algorithm. Also my deep condolences for your patronage of a writer who enjoys torturing his fan base with an ever coming ending. George has more money than he needs and enjoys trolling so good luck there.
I just realized how when John Arryn said “the seed is strong” talking about how Joffrey and his siblings are not of royal blood it’s kind of like how daemon called rhaenyra’s kids strong referring to their bastardy
What are your thoughts on the Arryns basically abandoning their ancestral seat of Gates of the Moon? If I remember correctly the Eryie is just a Summercastle, but during the Winter it's too cold and brutal up there. That castle certainly seems more like a "gilded birdcage" than a true castle, a fitting seat for Sansa to rest upon.
You didn't mention that Ronnel Arryn married Torrhen Stark's daughter (apparently in protest of the Lord of the North himself). Although the marriage was ultimately inconsequential, since they didn't have any children.
You forgot to add that Sweetrobin will sit the Iron Throne at the end of the series
Only if he is a skinchanger and gets out of sickly body.
@@ChuJungyinHis sickly body doesn’t really matter
He wouldn’t be the first sickly person to sit the throne
Preston is that you?
You mean Timett, son of Timett right?
The fact someone as severe and no nonsense as Visenya was 100% cool with letting little Ronnel Arryn fly around on Vhagar is incredibly wholesome
To be fair, Visenya isn't 100% no nonsense-she did have Lord(s) Monkeyface!
So magnanimous of Lord Haven to shout out small content creators like Glimbus
12:17 The Burned Men looking like,
"Seriously, we're poorly equipped ,undisciplined and still screw you over at any given opportunity."

The madlad did it
Lysa Tully asmr when
The history of House Baratheon would amazing
6:03 oh no Haven, the classic blunder of the Targaryens having too many damn similar names strikes again
I was never really interested by Robert Arryn/Sweetrobin, but I think it would be so in line with Martin’s writing to see the sickly sweetrobin overcome the odds
*WHEN WE NEEDED HIM MOST, HE CAME!!!*
A history of house Greyjoy would be really cool

Speaking of Tristifer IV Mudd, I'd DEFINITELY love a video on him and other legendary Kings that came before the Targs. 😎😎
1:19 Apparently Ursula Upcliff was a sorceress, and was about to curse Torgold Tollett.
Tollett apparently took offence to this action, as he leapt onto her horse and tore her head off with his hands.
What a madlad.
F*ckin hell he must've been a big boy like Maegor and the Mountain.
Premium lore video, really lifted the Vale on House Arryn
🤣
Would definitely like videos on: 1) The Children of the Forest, the Giants and Pre-Human Westeros.
2) The First Men and their migration across Dorne's arm.
3) The Andal Invasion/Migration.
I feel it is so asoiaf for Harry to have a tourney accident and little finger has to back peddle on little robin and have him get with sansa
I just want sweet Robin to live. I feel bad for that poor little weirdo.
I thought it was the other way around: that the Winged Knight was a legendary hero while the Falcon Knight was the Andal invader from House Arryn.

A house that really deserves a video on their own would be House Redwyne
love how much detail you put into your animations!! they’re so fun to watch every time :) great voice over too!
Bro you are becoming my favorite UA-cam channel currently keep making those videos because I can't have enough of them
The Arryns not dealing with the mountain men after all their nonsense is hilarious.
House Mid.

Agreed!!!
I like how the PJ fan fic is establishing istelf within the fandom. At least someone cares enough about the franchise to write something.

Great video. I really enjoy your simple but expressive and informative (physical features) animations. Like chubby Rhaenyra lol

Your videos are always awesome and entertaining Lord Fantasy of House Haven

Hey, do you plan on doing anymore alternate fantasy videos? I have a suggestion for one. How about If Jaime Lannister married Elia Martell?
Getting murdered by the mountain clans is becoming a tradition
Up in the Eyrie nobody stops you from blazing it 24/7. I can deal with clansmen tomorrow
Timett, son of Timett will be the one that rules the Eyrie by the end of the series.
And Sweetrobin would be King of the Seven Kingdoms?
First men tribes shall rule & send these Andals to their 7 hells.
loved the video, can't wait to see more videos of other great houses
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
just found your channel, I know its a bit cringe to say but you deserve more subs - your videos are really excellent
Thanks!
All hail His Grace King Preston, First of his Name, Purveyor of Fan Fiction and Protector of the Lore

You the man Late Lord Haven
Is Preston Jacobs just trolling when he says that Sweet Robin is his favorite character lol?
He genuinely loves that boy for some reason
@@lonemotheo1964 What he loves is the fan fiction, completely made up version of the character that he's invented
Great video as always Lord Haven. If House Arryn was really so honorable they would have supported Chivalrous Warrior King Daemon Blackfyre🗡

Yes they left for greener pastures than being a colony/slaves for the emerging Valyrian freehold.
now we need a history of House Codd
Valemen should seriously consider to establish a Gulltown - Maidenpool and Saltpans travel route by ships, as only way to travel to rest of Westeros.
One of the weird legends about artys arryn was that he married and had children with a child of the forest making the entire line of Arryns her descendants
That would tie into the whole "Sweetrobin is a greenseer" theory.
HotD does NOT do the Eyrie justice. I just reread Catelyn’s chapter in AGoT and it’s such an amazing castle
How many ruling women can throw someone through the moondoor?? The Eyries pretty one note
Comment for the Ashai god Algo.

I love how the houses ancestors are mostly more interesting than the current generation
The Arryn DNA just doesn't have any birthing hips at all, so much death by childbirth in just one house.
