Modern Warfare of is the grand finale of the Modern Warfare saga. The game is a giant blockbuster movie complete with non stop action and thrilling set pieces. Several hours after killing General Shepherd, Price and Nikolai evacuate critically wounded Soap to a Russian loyalist safe-house in Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, but soon discover that Makarov has sent forces out to their position to kill them. Yuri, a man with a common grudge against Makarov, assists them in providing a safe extraction from the region. Meanwhile, the war between Russia and the United States concludes when a four-man Delta Force team, call-signed Metal, manages to blow up the Russian broad spectrum jamming tower on top of the Wall Street Stock Exchange, successfully repelling Russian Forces in New York City, and hijacks a submarine to use its own ordnance on the Russian navy, forcing an emergency withdrawal from the East Coast. The world finds itself in a bloody global conflict, as Price, Soap and Yuri race to track down Makarov and kill the war at the source.
While the full game was often criticized as being Modern Warfare 2.5 (valid criticism) there's no denying the campaign was a fun roller coaster ride. I'll never forget watching the reveal trailer, the first time you see that WW3 flip over to be MW3. It gets my adrenaline running to this day.
Modern Warfare doesn't have many cutscenes necessarily, most of the story is told in game, so there is a lot of gameplay here. We recorded on PC, on max settings. We hope you enjoy!

But that moment, and the airport level from the previous installment, that was at a time when video games had balls. The audacity and willingness to take risks and incorporate some dark realities and realism into the gameplay and story. Some games and game makers still have that audacity to do that, but for more deeper themes and metaphors in games like TrePang2 and Stellar Blade.

God damn this brings me back. The moment Yuri and Price jumped out of the van in juggernaut suits was when they became my favorite MW characters. I was so stoked to see Captain Price today.

Although there are various other sad moments in the Modern Warfare franchise, this is an overlooked scene. The music and the intensity of the situation really sells. And the sad music combined with the destruction of the Eiffel tower really gives the players a sense of what wars can bring. Death and devastation to all involved and all caught in between.
When I saw the Eiffel Tower go down, I felt devastated that such an important monument was lost because of this dumb war, and made me want to find and kill the guy who started the war even more. Very impactful scene and adds more fuel to the fire to try and find Makarov and make him pay. I love MW3 and on my list it is my favorite game of the COD franchise, wish they would do a remaster for it..

Honestly. Frost was my favorite character in this. He just gets blown up and knocked down so many times, and still somehow gets back up. Plus he does most of the Spec Ops missions.
I’m still mad that he wasn’t with the rest of his squad in the end. There’s no explanation that I can recall as to why he isn’t there, and it would’ve been more impactful imo if the player character was there with the team we had all fought alongside the whole game

Don't forget the little girl and the Couple died when the bomb detonated right at them. I cried when they did that. When they got Volk, I wished they give him the worst hell he deserved. Same goes for Shepard and Makarov. These three deserved the worst hell unleashed on them!

My only nag with this is that they could've switched Price and Yuri's places in the final act. I picture Yuri comforting price in his last moments as Makarov hangs before Price dies. Yuri then takes his cigar and smokes it, signifying that he is carrying on his legacy.

Victor Reznovs' quote "As long as he lives, the heart of this army will never be stopped" is about Demetri and how unkillable he is. Until Black Ops unfortunately where he dies from the NOVA 6 gas. 😢

There are so many great animations and cinematic ass moments throughout these older COD games. Sometimes it's a little over the top, but this shit's underrated.

One of things that I liked about this is that captain price's prisoner number is 627 and in the moder warfare 2 there is a mission to where the security code for a door is 627. Im not sure if the developers made it like this but I find this really cool.
