- Taking on Jamieson-Licola Road (C486), on a sunny day - so we thought! Road conditions change constantly from gravel, hard-packed clay, rocks, trees/branches down, and slippery surfaces when wet.
Hopefully, this video will give you an insight into what Jamieson-Licola Rd is like to ride - some sections towards the top of Mt Skene were missed on the video (due to conditions).

Really enjoyed the video. Informatively portrayed. Having done the Walhalla to Woods Point Road in the Terri-yes, a car-I wanted to get a feel of what this road was like. There's always more than one way to explore our beautiful country. Might wait till next summer, though.
Hopefully next summer you will get to do it on a motorbike. Great area.
As one of the two fellas in Jamieson I must say the weather conditions had improved a lot for your trip. On our trip north from Licola earlier in the day the viz was like it was for you at Mt Skene for most of the trip from the end of the seal at the Licola end through to about half way down the hill into Jamieson.
I think our biggest problem was the helmets fogging, but it was also good for us getting a few tips from you guys. It was bloody cold too.😀
