The sad thing is that sometimes some doctors or other medical professionals might not even know about Endometriosis. :/ I think that is great that you Dr. are explaining everything to people on here and spreading the right education.
Amazing! I might of had this as a teenager, an they just found it now after 7kids, an years of pain. When I was 17 I had cancerous cells removed then again at 23yrs, an healthy cervix now. Then I grew a mass in uterus, an I've always had pain since the first day of my period at age 10. I've been told all my life, it's just what you have to deal with as a woman. After surgery to remove the mass after never ending periods. Always peeing. An my shoulder,abdomen, an lower back feels like it's on fire. So after mass they found the infection in uterus; endometriosis. Happily going for the hystertomy Oct 9th.. I'm 38 this October, my tubes are already tied.
Dr. thank you for such amazing helpful info. what about those women who have both fibroids and endometriosis as a cause for their heavy bleeding. I have both. what treatment would you suggest is best in that case to tackle both fibroids and endometriosis OR do you suggest one or the other be left as they will disappear over time on its own OR which of the two causes are more important to be treated?
Hello Dr. .. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all this explanation, which I learned a lot from my case, especially things I was not fully aware .. I admire your way in diagnosis and treatment and I need to conduct the operation but unfortunately I can not travel to America .. Can you give me names of doctors in Britain or Germany follow the same method of diagnosis, operation and treatment?
Could intercourse during period increase chance of endometriosis? And thank you from the bottom of my heart for these videos. Endometriosis was the hidden bain of my life.
My mom would still send me to school because she said its normal because she have bad period pain. Come to find out she have fibroids. I don't have fibroids but I'm getting a lap in two weeks.
