Hi Rui, could you perhaps share some of the resources you used to build your project, or atleast point me into the right direction. There is build info on the net, just don't know how reliable those sources are.
You could, but then you'd also have to add dedicated bank and mode footswitches. That would take a lot of space, which defeats the purpose. But more importantly, you don't want to do that. Trust me. It's very easy to use.
Stereo output options? I'd definitely love to see dedicated buttons for 1-8, and switch preset banks with just 2 buttons. Better for live applications. I'm impressed, nonetheless. Great work.
This is gonna sound stoopid but what is this for ? I mean, I'm a guitarist, I've built a pedal and own one. Is this to route your signal through different combos of pedals?
I would fall over trying to do some of those functions by foot. I'm with the other comments...what's the purpose of this thing? Looper to me means a loop station that records loops and overdubs. Is this an effects loop? I'm guessing you hook up a pedal to each number and then use presets to call on sounds that use multiple effects...?
ok this is a cool DIY and it functions well but look guys... joyo makes an outrageous looper with so many awesome bells and whistles for about 10 bucks more than this thing...
this is an incredible idea, can't wait to get this and build the thing
awesome. would love to hear you actually use it though as well to demo
I did that with a Arduino + 8 channel relay module, cheap and works great.
I am currently working on doing it with Arduino and two 8 channel relay modules.
Do you have a video up and a copy of the sketch on the internet?
hi, from where are you? when the relay it's activated there's some noise in the chain?

buildyourownclone any schematics that we could refer to,to build this piece of art?
I need to change my pants now.
Great idea, but I need more than eight loops. Would it be possible to do e.g. 12 loops? Like Super12? Or would I have to buy two super8?

Nice Nice! Muito bom!
Is signal path on these determined by order that the pedals are plugged into the looper?
I love the way this looks. Is this prototype for sale?

Yes
Keep me posted on a released date. I'm very interested in a DIY 6 channel 3 banks programmable true bypass looper.
where did you buy that aluminium box? I live in Europe...
It's not released yet. Probably on another month.
I want one now! How much? When is it being released? I've always wanted to get into midi.
I know this is an old post, but for other who are interestet - it has no midi.
Link for the build please
where can i get this box, i'm in the UK... what hammond model number is it?..

It's a bypass looper - look it up.
Better answer would have been "yes". So an "effects loop" and a "true-bypass looper" are the same device.
bluewaterpig This should take care of all your questions: bit.ly/xhGAqM
here it says: Build your own clone BYOC super8 looper of programmable bypass, but where is the assembly scheme?!
i want one how much?
Hei where can I contact you? I need something like this but just 5 channels
I'm not seeing it on the website yet, how much??
ok this is a cool DIY and it functions well but look guys... joyo makes an outrageous looper with so many awesome bells and whistles for about 10 bucks more than this thing...
The difference is in the size, this one is about 10" wide.
I woudl like to buy this. Are you selling?
Hi im from toronto canada. I want one and how much
How to DIY??

Why would anyone do this when you can get beautifully built Joyo switchers with warrantee for under 90 bucks new?
you are only the user not the designer, video empty of diagram and principle, that does not bring anything!
