  • In this poorly produced iphone video I assemble the BYOC (build your own clone) Yellow Overdrive (it's a Boss OD1 clone). This is almost all of the steps from start to finish. The sound sample isn't a sound sample, it's rather a check to see if it works. The full sound will come in a future video.

    I bougt this and another one that had three Rats. Both were easy to build and sounded great. Only thing that was little bit of pain in the ass, was the 3 PDT switches.

    Hi Robert, thanks for making this video. I found it especially interesting to watch the paint job. Haven't done that before, and always interesting to see what pitfalls there might be. It turned out great and I love the colour. Almost tempted to head over and find a kit to build myself. All the best!

    I´ve build the 4558 version (self-etched board) since is almost impossible to get the right parts here in Venezuela. Sounds very nice, I will have to try the 14 pins IC version someday.
