  • The SADM was a man-portable nuclear bomb, intended for use by Special Forces as a powerful demolition charge.
    Based on the W54 warhead formerly used by the Davy Crockett nuclear bazooka (actually a recoilless rifle), and the AGM-62 Walleye and AIM-26 Falcon missiles, the SADM could be dialled from a yield of 10 tons to 1 kiloton. It weighed 51 lb and measured 10.75 inches in diameter and 15.7 inches long.
    It was removed from active service in 1989.
