Wow... I thought my Boogeyman mask was cool until now. I've been waiting for months and months for someone to post a boogeyman overhaul mask related video and finally its here! I think the boogeyman has such amazing details that can be brought out for sure! thank you so much for this

Tots should just start selling blank masks. Since they can ever get the hair right, sell blanks and leave a section for purchasing hair.
It looks awesome!!! My only complaint tho is a lil too much black in certain areas like the nose and lips. I saw the video that Tommy Lee Wallace did on the Kirk conversion mask and he said he didn’t use any black but did get good dark shadowy spots with some good lighting

If you wanna do it accurate to the movie just make the whole thing skin tone then spray paint white
I admit this looks great, but you went just a LITTLE too heavy on the black marks. EDIT: It's the neck and the lip more than anything.
I'd just like to make mine not so shiny what is an easy way of doing that
i think there was no need to paint that first white layer. or what do you say?
Just putting some simple black wash would do wonders for this mask as well.

Looks alright but put way to much black wash on it, such as the Lips, eyes, nose and neck, and the little details all over. Forgot the glue lines for the sideburns too, other than that not bad....
did you cut the eyes
for the weathering did you mix paint with latex and water or just paint and water?

What we can paint with as an alternative to airbrushing? I have seen a lot of rehaul videos that use an airbrush machine but realistically I'm not going to buy an airbrush machine just to overhaul one mask. I just purchased a Boogeyman and love how this turned out but don't have that tool. What are some paint alternatives that would still come out decent?
Carlos Valencia27 I’ve seen mask turn out good with just using a brush. Just go slow with it and don’t put too much on at one time and it should turn just fine.
Its like 3 months but I did a tots rehaul on the halloween 2 mask and instead of my air brush I used liquid latex with white paint and more dabbed it on. Put a decent glob on there and dab the mask until its super thin.

The original hairline didn’t have the glue showing like it is on TOTS and is more messed up and not just glued on in a direct line. It’s optional to change it but it looks better when you can put it back on your self and style it correctly
How did you seal the paint?
Hi , Do you use PLASTI DIP between each weathering layer or is it not necessary..
it doesnt look like he sealed the mask at all during the tutorial. Im sure he did once the paint app was done. I think thats why he lost some of the flesh tone around the neck back down to the base white bcuz it got wiped away with the weathering. Ive done the same several times on rehauls. This did come out awesome tho the weathering is damn near perfect.

I hate removing hair from these damn things. I end up taking it all off, and shaving it and then doing a complete rehair with real hair.
