Great information. Our 2019 Vista 29ve is arranged a little differently. The winterization is under the bed by the fresh water tank. Saves a few steps in and out of the motor home. Thank you for this video.
If your rig is equipped for washer & dryer behind the wall of closet. BUT is not hooked up to a washer. Do I need to be concerned of line freezing . How would I winterize that ?? I am concerned ?
@@LichtsinnRV sorry if I wasn’t clear. I DO NOT have a washer & dryer in rig but it has a washer dryer hook up behind a wall in closet if I wanted eventually to get one. So I worry that water may be in that line ? Do you think antifreeze will flow thru that line during my winterize process? Thanks
@@petekane2501 Good morning, if you use the wet method of running RV antifreeze and you have water pressure to this pre plumb, yes, you are correct. If you are blowing out your lines this would be one to open as you run air
I tried to do the antifreeze with the hose on the pump. 7 gallons went somewhere not a drop out of facets. I put 7 gallons in the tank and pumped it in the lines that way. Everything worked. I bypassed the waterhearter also. Any ideas ?
Good afternoon! To clarify, you added 7 gallons of RV antifreeze into the gravity fill of the water tank? Or you drew 7 gallons thru the winterization siphon hose?
@@LichtsinnRV HI, 1st I drew it in with the siphon hose. While the pump was running no antifreeze came out the facets. Then I put 7 gallons in the fresh water tank and turned on the pump and ran antifreeze through the lines that way. I have no idea where the 1st seven gallons went to. No leaks anywhere.
@@OO-by2jl Is you main water diverter valve set to tank fill or normal? That sounds like it might be set to tank fill, rather than diverting to the faucets
@@LichtsinnRV my main concern is where did the 1st 7 gallons of antifreeze go to. It wasn't in the tank or water lines. The pump sucked it up fast. When filling the water tank I can hear water going into it
Good morning Peter! Thanks for your note... they are typically used for floorplan flexibility for a grey tank away from a gravity discharge, or alternatively used to ensure that you have one discharge outlet, instead of multiple locations to hookup a discharge hose. Hope this helps!

I find so much helpful on your Utube channel.
Thank you for providing this information even though we did not purchase from your dealership.
You are so welcome!

Good morning! Draining and then adding RV antifreeze will prevent any damage. There could be residual water in the washer

Drain pump?? Never seen that feature it must have a switch to operate it if you have one??
