Regarding Question #2, I’d say that becoming Orthodox 20 years ago was the biggest life changer for me. The Lord is ever revealing to me Who He is, and who I am, stretching, testing, and healing me. Easy? No. Worth the price? A thousand times YES!
wow,I really enjoy this channel,it covers everything without geting boring! It makes you understand the basics and think about your own relationship with god.I am really excited for your videos ,greedings from Greece
1. My temper. I say the Jesus prayer now that I returned to Him, meditating on that grants me patience and understanding from God. 2. All the meaning in my life. 3. I closed my eyes to the truth of God for 13 years.
Steven Christoforou I don't have one yet, but I am attending my first Orthodox service this Sunday, maybe I can find someone willing at service! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated :)
That's incredible news! Definitely reach out to the priest. Introduce yourself if you haven't yet, let him know you're attending your first service and give him a bit of a sense of where you're coming from. He can walk you through next steps as you figure out what God has for you. May our loving Lord bless you and guide your steps! Please keep in touch, let us know how it goes.
Great question! In short, it's because of the Resurrection. Very early on the Church transferred the dignity of the Sabbath to Sunday (which in Greek is called "the Lord's Day"). Every Sunday has a Paschal quality to it.
Christ is Risen! What did you think of this week's video? How would you answer the Three Questions?

Steven Christoforou I went to my first Orthodox service today! I can't describe how at home the congregation made me feel. I am in the right place :)
Glory to God!
Did you get a chance to talk to the priest about next steps?
Where can I find your intro to John?
I'm afraid we never got to it. I'm homing to fill out the remaining episodes in the next year.
Hi I wanted to ask why we observe sabbath on Sunday instead of Saturday
Great question! In short, it's because of the Resurrection.
