Do Ugandans Save Money? The answer will surprise you. In Today's video, Miss Josey investigates Africa's financial situation that many individuals from western countries such as the United States of America, Canada, Australia or European countries might have about the african continent. Miss Josey walks around a village in Bundibujo, situated near the adventure capital of east Africa, Jinja, Uganda. She interview's local African villagers and asks them do Africans Save money and have a bank account? Surprisingly many Africans do save even if it is not via a bank. Most Ugandans save money via informal methods of saving such as community funds or stashing money under the bed.
Jinja is the most underrated city in Africa, as it offers so many activities for travellers. If you've never heard of this city, you need to add this destination to your 2024 bucket list. This destination has the world's best place for rafting down the Nile river, take beautiful sunset cruise along the Nile river, kayaking, paddle boarding, dirt biking, drive an ATV/ 4 Wheeler, horseback riding, go tubbing, slide into the Nile and even visit the source of the Nile River, which is the longest river in the world. One of the main reasons for Africans finding it difficult to save is because of unstable economy, high cost of living and low wages

This is also a great show for westerners too since, we spend a lot of money on nonsense. We have also been conditioned to have credit cards since, having real money on hand, will let you spend less. We just swipe our Credit Cards all the time and I’m always shocked at the end of the month (US 2,00-00-2,500) on Bills. Daily parking at work alone is US $25. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks… US $90 (Daily). I make great money but, I want to retire young. I’m looking forward to biking to work on nice days, cutting Netflix, Amazon prime Video, Subscription TVs etc..

@@ggamma1983 ..After retirement, I want to buy Catamaran sailboat and sail around the world. I'm into sailing and flying. In the last 5 years, I spend 1 month vacation in the Caribbean which involves sailing and fishing. I’m leaving my dream now and learning my retirement. Have learnt how to cook and it always the best. I had friends taste by BBQ skills and they want to know the recipe. No need to go expensive restaurants.
