Love your channel, incredible degree of training and tutoring for free, unheard of these days. Thank you! Quick question on this lesson: The puzzles were seeded at 3000, but I scored a clean 16 of 16, with very little effort and I am (or was) a mere 1570 rating. How was that possible? Either I'm getting really bloody good, or these puzzles were not actually at 3000 strength. I am assuming the latter and wondering what the actual ranking was? Thanks again for the great content. Hope you see this, since it's nearly 2 years past the original publication date. 🙂

Sir should i start with some chess excercise books now , i have a pdf of '1001 chess excersices for beginners'. Also while reading a chess book should i train to imagine the setup in my mind or just imitate it on the board.
Hello Darshan! You should definitely start now. You can try setting the exercises on the board and solving them. You can also try finding the answer directly from the PDF. What really matters is that you do a lot of them until you find the solution quickly. You can also try to imagine the setup in your mind from time time, but not every time. Also, do not feel like you have to go in order. You can train "mate in 1" and also "pins" for example. Hope this makes sense 👍
