2005 - 2012 is the one I grew up with, and honestly still miss. It just screams “news.” I still remember sometimes they would leave it running for a bit longer, and it would leave you in suspense. I find the new one quite boring to be honest.
The composer of the 1995 intro (he also composed the 1988 and 2005 intros) actually used the exact same gong as the one from the 1956 intro, however when he found the gong at the Tropenmuseum, it needed to be repaired as the gong had a small crack. That's a very nice throwback to their very first intro if you ask me.
BBC News has the Greenwich time signal pips, ITV News at Ten has Big Ben, ARD Tagesschau has their gong followed by "Hier ist das Erstes Deutsche Fernsehen mit der Tagesschau", RTÉ news since 2009 has the O'Donnell Abu fanfare. Like those ones, NOS' gong is their calling card.

Die van nu is toch wel het beste. Die ervoor zagen er altijd zo oudbollig uit vergeleken met het RTL nieuws en die tussen 2005 en 2012 was niet om aan te gluren.
I can hear Boombayah by BLACKPINK oh my goodness And Te Duur? means Too Expensive? I think this means that Kpop concerts, albums and merch are too expensive so why? Ugh...I think it is due to overpricing?
Te Duur indeed means Too Expensive. The reason why this is on the news is that the tickets start at €170,- (USD 192). This would mean that the BLACKPINK concert would be the most expensive concert ever held in the Netherlands. The tickets for artists as Michael Jackson, Prince but also G-Dragon and BTS were almost the half of this.
I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING! BTW I am a Kpop fan too. Mostly, EXO, NCT, VIXX, and Super Junior. What's yours? We can hang out! EDIT: That's Boombayah by Blackpink. EDIT 2: Te Duur? means Too Expensive? I think this means that Kpop concerts, albums and merch are too expensive so why?
@@ComparisonFarts I used to be a fan of BTS but it was too overwhelming because since they became more popular than ever, it might causing fanwars and some ARMYs are deluded. (Ex: BTS are better than TVXQ or Jungkook's vocals are better than Baekhyun's vocals) so I don't think I am an ARMY... :(

Wait until you see idents from VPRO during the 70s They were extremely ahead of the time they were like 15+ years in the future
The 1987-1994 intro is missing! Please help updating the history!
4:40 Dikke beat, hoor.
I'm going for the 2001/2005 version.. probably because that was the period I started watching the news.. I was 11/15 years old.
The 1985 one is the best.

@Intro Collector uhm can you make a intro video from RTL Nieuws and Hart van Nederland
2:45 is the first one I remember!
You got to be kidding me. The "Te Duur?" means too expensive during the BLACKPINK thing.
It is. Most of the time I gone to a concert is around $70-$90. The concert that BLACKPINK have at Netherlands cost $192.
Did I comment this lol I haven't actually gone to any concerts yet at that time, and now.
Please to french TV5, they had some amazing intro in the 00s
They peaked in 2001

It’s from December 2016, not 2017
Gong sound (i think) as always include in NOS intro, and the latest intro, why? 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
