Damn...1995 is considered old school now? I'm getting old...
In Brazil Scania 113 360 is one of the most "dear", mainly the T version!
I think ur old generation mind set
HostileLemons Tell me about it man, I used to ride on a horse-drawn carriage.
@DwarvishPasty Being 15 and born in 2004,I still feel old when thinking about the fact that were closer to 2035 than 2000...Or closer to 2025 than when I was born, but when I think about 2025 or hell even 2020 it just feels weird, it feels like im talking about the future but no, it's only a few months or years away...
HostileLemons damn... guess my girlfriend is old school too cause she was born in ‘95 lol
Here in Brazil they're still working a lot. Also in 6x2 configuration, pulling 3 axle trailers or even double trailers (bi-trem) of 2 axles each. It was the best selling heavy truck of his era, coming with 10 speed scania transmissions. A hell of a good truck for Brazilian conditions!
My dad still drives this, after all these years. Still going strong!!
Is it for sell, i m looking for one
we need an update
Man.. there`s something so satisfying about hearing an old mechanicly injected engine dial to life, and they start right up too... There`s something about the sound of these old engines, real meaty.
No waiting for rail pressure to build or for an ecu to verify crank and camshaft position, and they`re propor loud, like such a big engine kind of should be... That loudness makes these old truck feel utilitarian and purposeful, and that feeling is lost by newer truck with their focus on quietness, smoothness, and driver`s comfort, even if a newer truck ouclasses this old girl in every metric (arguably except reliability)
Those old Scanias were brilliant in their day they just could not be beaten, the comfort, the reliability the pulling power was superb,I always felt safe driving these golden oldies fabulous vehicle.
My dad used to drive a 143 450 topline! I miss it every day and I drive a streamline today. Learned to drive in a 143 420 :)
My favorite Scania series (T143H 6X2)! I used to travel throughout latin america in one of these with my father. R.I.P father.
I'm sorry about your loss
Fantastic Stavros, loving my Sunday dose of Stavros.
A great trip with you down old memory lane once more, thank you kind Sir.
This is awesome as my papa was a driver all over Europe transporting passenger plane engines back in good ol days of nothing but manual boxes.
This is a very well respected 3 series, thanks for sharing with us.
Such a well put together video, great watch on a Sunday morning.
I'm a carguy and that Altezza was SWEET! And the Scania was gorgeous too
Also have to say , best lorry ever made in my mind , will always be my only true love 😉
Great videos stavros , really enjoy watching to find out what's new , but love the older scanias . My father used to drive a 113 360 great memories , gave me my love for travel .. top notch bud 😉😉

Love your energy and honest personality in your videos, the world needs more people like you Stavros... The camera setup, quality, and editing is something I will never have the patience to achieve personally... 5* videos. Well done mate, all the best. From SW London
known much about trucks, thanks to you stavros,
Keep up!, watching from Kenya.
Beautiful truck , great childhood memories. Great video!
Nice job what a beast that old Scania is and nice to hear it has the standard 3 series squeaky clutch pedal 😉
The sound is just incredible....
Great to see a clip with a 113, takes me back.
Love the video. Great to see the older trucks👍😄
The old 142 was the best workhorse in 80s. Gave a lovely bark with the old v8 .could keep with the best even today with no limiter .
Beautiful truck one of my favourite designs! Awesome video as always!
another 113! classic. good review stavros
I dont know anything about trucks and I was happened to see it randomly - but it was turned out as very cool video and I watched it till the end!!
My dad used to drive one of these daily when he worked at Bilspedition (before it became Schenker) here in Sweden and i used to ride along alot and it was so much fun. The memories
The memories! I remember them well, pulling for milk marque.
Thank you, very informative 👍🏻
I remember people using the old Scania sun visors as aero under the bumper too!
Ah i used to love driving my 95 113. Great old truck The gears got easier to change as she warmed up
Love your videos..Can't wait for more...Keep up the good work
Great video again the old 113 great truck in its day great garage to deal with
What a gorgeous truck. That must of been a nice treat for you. Thanks for sharing
Wow brings back some memories driving those. I like the newer Scanias but you cant help love the older ones too.
Absolutely fantastic and very helpful video and a great truck. Beautiful looking Scania
I love these old trucks! I drive my self scania s but i own these old trucks too like all the way from 1970's. We have lot of these old trucks in Russia. But i just would want to go back to the old good days where there werent any touch screens and not a lot of people had computers only big companies! Hope i'll born to 1960's in another life when i die😂!
theres only one life and no 60s arent coming back its just what it is we cant have control of it
Come back at Stalin age... you will drive a carriage.
What did touch screens do to you?
@@germas369 nothing, but in the old good days everything was better
True. Old life was simple. New day and age is modern/advance which makes it complicated day to day.
wow! 😍 good work stavros!
Those oh so familiar sounds and sights, buttons and knobs... i had the pleasure of driving a garbagetruckversion of that one... it's amazing to see the details. They've done great job at preserving it.
Great video, enjoyed that.., very interesting & informative as usual 👍
Memories memories memories. Beautiful , thank you for the video!
Love the old scanias , I used to have one on tipper work (waste disposal ) had a few actually. The one I'm remembering mostly though was my 143 450 V8 with twin eminox stacks rear of cab, beauty, no need for the radio, on could listen to her working away all day. Beautiful memories
that drone view is very beautiful, waiting for cannonball ireland
Classic! Classic truck. I was driving these in the 1980s/90s and Volvo FL 7s and 10s. And Leyland Roadtrains. And many more. I never, Until now considered them old. I'm feeling very old. Great video. I love the sound.
Me too lad..
My first truck was this model and engine....loved it so much
Stavros is awesome. Love his accent and happiness in his videos 👍
Cool! brings back some good memories ,just passing my test in the mid nineties and driving one if these up to Glasgow with the gaffer listening to his Rod Stuart tape thinkin I was king if the road 😎😎😎😎,good times
Hehe, nice to see Cork and AOC representing. Thanks for the upload
GREAT video Stavros your best yet, proper lorry driver! At 16,02 "I have no idea whats going on here" but as other traffic whizzes past you your already on the ball. The 113H is just my thing & it looks in fantastic condition, I'd be quite at home for a day out in that! I passed my class one in 1988 age 22 so I was used to old lorries with no synchromesh & strange gear positions. I had a four year break & I have LOVED driving new automatic lorries this year, DAF XF & CF, Scania R450, Renault T series et cetera. Technology has really moved forward quickly & as ever no driver is given the hand book or time to read it, the old days were figuring out all the mechanical things & the modern days are figuring out what all the buttons & switches do!
This is a work of art. Please make more videos such as these. Salute.
As ever Stavros, a great video. I used to drive a 1995 113 360 stream line many moons ago for Tradaree transport. Really nice machine.
1:24 "And if I zoom over there you'll see a Scania" 143m 500 on the top.
Great video :) Love your enthusiasm!
Yeah my favorite Scania!I mean,i like the 143 V8 more,of course.Thanks man!

Brill again, never watched any of urs vids untill today, watched a 25min vid this dinner time and 8hrs later still watching them lol, especially now I see these classic trucks vids, brilliant thanks brought back some good memories!!!!!!
I am not a truck driver but I have a memory connected to Scania 113's. I was on some kind of camp meeting. I am not very used to sleeping in tents. In the night I woke up and had to go to the toilet building a few hundred meters away, but i felt already very cold in my sleeping bag inside the tent. Somehow I was left over to be alone in a tent. Now I still had to go outside the tent. Suddenly, from the nearby motorway access, I heard a truck noise which, in my perception, was radiant with power. Now I had the strength to go out of the sleeping bag and the tent. After I had accomplished my visit to the toilet building, I was happy with it but I still had no clue what truck it was. Nothing to bother about at that moment. Rather sleep. Years later, other place, other country, I heard a truck and immediately thought: "that is the same type as back then, the one which helped me get out into the cold." That time I could see the truck, and read the type. It was a Scania 113. It is already long ago. In the meantime I have forgotten whether it was a 113 H or a 113 M.
You should write a book on your experiences.
I drive my 1995 Ford F150 Pick-Up truck everyday. Under 150,000 miles and runs like a top. Cheers Stavros
This is my favorite model of the Scania. The style of the cab is just like no other.
We have narrower roads, and lenght limits to trucks, american trucks are too long
My dad had a haulage company for nearly 50 years and had several of these . Wow brings back memories
Wow I was driving the same one back in the day it’s awesome truck with 6 speed transmission
I saw one of these on the road recently and its always so cool to see old girls still working on the open road!
I love these old trucks.
Please do some more like this.
Great video! In Brazil these Scania 113 are one of the most popular trucks. There are a lot of them in the roads nowadays. Hugs from Brazil!
wow, we do have some 64 plate actros and they look older than this awesome scani. big fan of the 113H
Stavros, 11 out of 10 for sheer enthusiasm once again
Me want!!!! Love the engine sounds!!!!
Daaaamn that engine sound good ! I love it I love it I love it !
that's what I drove in my youth .. still just a very nice truck .. but today I don't drive for living. thx. for the ride back memory lane.
Drove a 113 in my millitary service.. fantastic truck
The engine sound remained me my cousin's old truck, I like the sound of the engine.
Great truck.. love the 3 series.. in their day a huge improvement.. even more amazing is the torque figures of the new tippers..
Still a great truck today. I like the sound of that 11 litre 6 cilinder. I love the 3 series.
I love these classic Scania's...!!! 😁👍
Love the drone footage
I did 10 years of European work in a 143m 450 Streamline. With the fuel pump opened up that thing was an animal. 6mpg though....
Loved every minute in it.
Good test, and video👍
Better than top gear. Good job mate 👍🏻
Great Scania .. Hugs from Brazil!
This really brings up the old memory's.
I'm not into trucks but this video was very interesting to watch. Thank you
"only a straight 6" cmon they all have souls. Hard to kill one
Great video! I love Scania.....
Love how this 90's scania has similar interior features to a 63 plate Merc axor
That old machine brings back some happy memories .Fist time i drove one was on a cold winters night and the heater was busted if it wasnt for another more experienced driver showing me how to fix it i would have frozen to death .would so love to pilot one again even just for one day .
my dad's first truck when hauling oil n gas loads was on this particular line of Scania. Lots of fond memories with him.
I remember when these came out as the Centurion Streamline, I got a special brochure, no idea where it went!
This brings back memories. My firs truck was Scania 113/380. It had no AC. I drove it for 2 years.
Is this the irish version Dough De Muro but just reviewing trucks instead of cars? Oh god instant sub! This is fucking amazing, haha!
Great video stavros969
Love these old truck videos! I know you tend towards the larger tractor units but I'd love to see a review on something like a Leyland Daf 45. Maybe get some high quality audio of that great Cummins growl!
Past my HGV 1 test on a scania ....drove a few other makes over the 30 years of driving but always have a soft spot for a scannie 👍
Awesome Video !
