Thank you sir for showing the repair. I woke up this morning thinking Be Kind. My 5 year old granddaughter came over to help me feed the ducks. She told me she got a letter sent home from school. I told her to be kind. Then she proceeded to tell me she got in trouble for pouring juice on her sandwich at lunch. I asked did you eatnit. She said yes sir it was yummy. It took all I could do to keep from laughing at the silly little rascal. Lol!! Glad you had a good day sir. Let's have a better day tomorrow.
Thanks for the like my friend . Question what happens to all the wood from the trees you cut down . Is it all for firewood or is some for timber cutting ???
i have a hand axe, it was my grandads as he used it split wood for the fire, its got a red head and on top u cant see the stapels or split wood its just hard and looks like its been poured in, as nothing sticking out the top. thought u might no. love your channel just going to subscribe to your channel as i have watched a lot of your vids and there great am from Sunny Scotland lol Edinburgh maybe a cheap axe. be great for any info from yourself and others hear thanks. take care
Love watching you fitting these axes. You've inspired me to do some myself. I learned how to do this 50 years ago and now I'm having fun doing it again. My dad showed me. Mostly did hammers and farm tools. I do it exactly the same way. I use a coarse file alot too. Thanks for all the inspiration and good feelings. You're a ready of sunshine.
I was watching Mike and Melissa Morgan and they mentioned your channel and spoke very highly of you. So I thought I'd give you a try. They're right. I'm just a wannabe outdoors man and I really like watching you work. Thanks for a great video.
I'm now addicted to axes and learning all I can to restore and haft them. My wife is less thrilled with my new obsession LOL. (Too many hobbies) Love the channel Buckin! --And all your positive messages! Makes my days in the woods and on our farm more fun and productive!
Had to watch one more before I hop on the Harley and head in to work for the night shift and show some kindness. Great 👍 video Buckin! Thanks to all the supporters who help keep the channel going.
It’s so satisfying to create something useful from what has been discarded by someone else. I hafted my first axe last winter after watching your videos and now have 2 more in the queue, a very nice Jersey and a 2 1/2 lb boys axe. All on Home Hardware handles.
Been awhile since I tuned in, just get busy with life, but love the content, and appreciate your kind hearted approach to the channel! I’m a fan for life!
I literally choked from laughing watching Billy go for the hat toss !!! We need a disclaimer next time not not to be eating anything while watching the next attempt. AWESOME...Next time brother, next time 👍👍
The sound of that door shutting on the Mercury is so satisfying and I'm looking forward to fixing my late grandfathers single bit I'm going to take my grandmother home tomorrow and I'm going to look for it. Hopefully no one took it.
I so enjoy your energy and passion!! Makes me feel good regardless of how my day has been. Plus I learn. And I’m an ax junkie!!!! Lol Then there is the Army man I enjoy being in the buckin army. With love for all from Kingsport Tennessee
As always, very informative Buckn'! AND, always bringing out a chuckle! Thanks for showing a little more on the Axe, cant wait to try my own. BUCKIN' ARMY! How are ya! BE KIND! MODS and Messengers of Kindness! What a Great Channel we have here!
Hey Buckin', love that maple tree behind ya when you were on yer porch grinding that nick out of that double bit, the light greens, and light yellows are just beautiful. Those double bits also are a work of art, when you burn the handle then put some watca on 'em, man does the grain just stand out and shout notice me! Thanks for showing us how you do it so we can try it and get similar results. Really gratifying when you learn how to do this and then you do it. Personal satisfaction indeed. My son's visiting and he loves your videos too. Be safe and keep moving.
Amazing work 👍 love the kindness of this community. I'm getting a late start at this, picked up a little Stihl 261 and a splitting mall. Would love to get a double bit like that. Have a good day and be kind.
Love the energy! Someone as positive as yourself is perfect for the UA-cam platform! What the world would be missing if you weren’t up for making videos.
I would LOVE to see your method for reconditioning the axe head, in particular, removing that large notch and yet maintaining the balance of the axe head. Thank you!
NOW IM BLESSED THE KELLY THAT I HAVE IM GOING TO RESURRECT THE HANDEL IM THINKIN THIS VIDEO IS A GREAT HELP SHE IS A BIT WIGGGILILY AND I HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO HAFT HER PROPERLY THANK YOU MARK BE WELL I`LL LET YA KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT
New subscriber really enjoying your videos. I’m working on hafting my first axe now. It’s a Gransfors that I found at the side of the road in my neighborhood, I’ve cleaned up the rust, given it a tea patina (got the idea from you) and now I’m putting a handle on it, it’s taking a long time to get it to fit right on the handle but I’m getting there slowly. Keep up the good work Buckin’!
Can't wait to see what you do with the white spotty one, i'm trying to make a file handle with something similar. You get more done in 30 minutes than I get done in 30 days. I'll try an axe handle one of these days, it just seems pretty daunting
hello Billy Ray I'd like to meet in person. but when i can make money and learn some words in english. but until then how can i get your ax autographed
Love to the Army and especially to my buddy Buckin!! Have never forgotten about you guys!! Will be getting in touch with you soon Bucking. Much love everyone!!!
Your a good man Billy..Yep I feel my bones this time of year to.. Keep in on the move though. What part of the country you at. I’m kinda new to your channel.
I almost bought my first ever double bit yesterday, because my newest friend (you) convinced me. But I felt like the guy at the flea market was asking too much. I also didn't quite know if the ones he had were good or not. Could you maybe address that? Flea market/garage sale buys. Thanks.
If you haven’t already, you should check out Liam Hoffmann of Hoffmann Blacksmithing. Hand forged axes, makes his own handles and gets them crazy sharp like you do! Beautiful axes he makes. Could you do some more video on axe bucking and chopping. The flick is not as easy as you make it look. Thanks BB!
You are an inspiring person my friend! I’m a wood man myself. Though table saws etc. is my vocation. Been collecting axe heads for about a year. Ran into your channel a few months ago and really enjoy the positivity and excitement you bring to life. Thinking of starting my own channel. I have something to give. Thanks 👍
Yeah I watch this again, actually I watch all the axe building video's alot so I can Haft an axe Buckin' Style, burnt grain included. YES I's like to see more, count me in Buckin' !
