    Being injured atm ive been watching endless mindblowing gnar, so the skating at the end was a really nice contrast; just good skating and mellow tunes. Nice niche you're carving out here

    Stumbled here as I'm thinking bout getting the Polar Shin Sanbongi Mt Fuji deck. Very thoughtful insights and I too like the shaped decks with squared end! Subbed and a fan...

    I've got the polar Dane1 special (large old school board) , Paris v3's, ricta clouds 60mm 78a with bones reds and I honestly can't get off it. It's an amazing cruiser board.

    I love my gold, Ace AF1 55s on my 8.5" Element Seal and my gold, Ace AF1 33s on my Alva OG#1. I have Indy 215s on my 10" pool/slappy grind deck but only because Ace doesn't make an '88' model for 10" boards. I never thought I'd switch from Indy but the Ace AF1s ride better! Thanks for the reviews, Zack. YOUR input was key in trying Ace trucks. Keep up the good work!

    I’d love to watch an in depth explanation on the preference of using less than 4 screws (hardware) and if there is an actual benefit for some people.
    Also, be more careful when drilling the pilot holes please, you did it right above your leg. It would suck to have you miss out on skating for an accidental slip.

    • @topdeckdog
      @topdeckdog 2 роки тому +2

      Some people just have mad drilling skills and live on the edge. Funny how you didn't tell him to be more careful when throwing himself around on vert walls padless though. I'm pretty confident Zack will survive rail installs for years to come. 🤙

    11:18 You're going faster because your new wheels have a narrower riding surface. Less surface area = less friction. Wheel size is not the only factor when determining speed, despite what every brand out there sells us!

  • @neblehk
    @neblehk 2 роки тому

    A larger wheel will always have a higher maximum speed, but a smaller wheel will reach its maximum speed faster. So with short distances a smaller wheel will «feel» faster

    • @ZackDowdy
      @ZackDowdy  2 роки тому +1

      That's the common conception, I think what's forgotten in this perspective is the shape of the wheel. The shape of the wheel can make a big difference in the speed, hence flat wheel.
