Hello. One poet who I really like is Thom Gunn. And I also HATE Joyce. If you think Wilbur Smith hated women, Joyce had them as his natural enemy practically. His theater play is the worst book I've ever read. And an author who is super entertaining is Don Winslow. You could start with Broken, if you like that you can pretty much read everything else by him.
