I was there they day after you guys were there. We called the park in the morning to confirm if Fønix would be operating because we had the option to swap days with Djurs sommerland. Gladly it did open, and I got 27 rides in on Fønix. Its a great ride and I hope you will experience it once aswell
Chris, I imagine, when Sophie watches this, she will undoubtedly shake her head sadly, sigh, and just smirk at you for going out in a freaking HURRICANE in search of credits!
Yeah. We usually get big storms in Denmark but only during October to November! This was one of those storms but as early as August! And a pretty intense one too! I was actually scheduled to visit Fårup Sommerland the same day but I postponed my visit to Friday to avoid the storm and thank god I did, and thank god my own trip had the flexibility to do that.
I’m surprised these parks open with this weather, but maybe it’s seasonal and normal there, I don’t know. Never been to Denmark. Might have to go, though, all these little Danish parks look lovely.
Danish rides arent usually tempermental with weather. Denmark does get storms like this quite regularly but they always happen in the late fall. This storm happened in August, right as the summer holidays were ending, it was insane! I was also on a coaster trip when the storm happened but I postponed my visit to Fårup and instead just took the train to Randers and spent the day visiting their indoor tropical zoo. Cool place, located within 3 giant biodomes! Eisner era Disney immersion inside too, awesome place and great for avoiding the worst of the storm.
Shame you didn't get to go on Fonix. It's the best coaster in Denmark by a considerable margin, and while not super strong in the positives, the sheer amount of airtime it packs into that layout is immense. Falken isn't that bad either so shame you didn't get to give it a shot either.
I was wondering why Phonix wasn't in your top 100. Lynnet might have been a borderliner but i don't think with your freferences it would make the cut. Also why didn't you go to djurs sommerland?
I know strong winds sucks. I can’t do anything fun. No great skiing terrain open, no coasters, hard to bike ride, were there any indoor parks on the trip?
Pretty disappointing having fonix closed, but hopefully Wildfire was better. But hey, now you have an excuse to get back to their and Djurs sommerland to get better rides on Piraten.
That's EXCATLY how I operate coasters!
We needed your stick skills that day
👏👏👏
You’re now forced to come back on a separate trip to get those credits. The wind really hated you!
"I need to get some of that spray for my house" ... 😳
Dang. Sucks that Fonix was closed. That ride looks awesome
Full marks to that ride op crew on the wild mouse getting WD-40 or whatever that was on the rails to keep it going.
“ARE YOU TOO GOOD FOR YOUR HOME?!” - your cutaways are always so on point 🤣🤣🤣
one of my favorite parts of the coaster community is seeing all the different ways Americans pronounce European park names
Oh I don't doubt that it's a train wreck
I literally felt the cold through my screen 😂
Storm Hans knows no bounds
It’s always a good day when Airtime Thrills posts
the curse of skyrush strikes back
That really sucks :/ 😢 Good job embracing the chaos and making it fun!

aww that sucks so much that fonix was closed r.i.p to that credit
The way you felt about Fonix is how I felt staring at a closed Viper on what will probably be my only trip to Magic Mountain for quite a while :(
Great video! It's good to see you got the credits you did get there despite the weather.

Hey I went all the way out there nothing could stop me from riding some open coasters
YAY MORE AIRTIME THRILLS VLOG!!!
Looks like an average summer day in Blackpool.
I can’t even fathom the weather being that bad in august. I’d def have a complex about traveling for coasters if my luck was that bad lol

It's not unheard of on the US East Coast, though usually the bad stuff starts a bit later.
Kinda off topic with the video but buy or sell: silver dollar city gets a new coaster in three years (not counting the new fire in the hole revamp)
I love airtime thrills
Such a bummer with the weather. I think I would cry if I planned an overseas trip and the weather made me miss out on anticipated credits
You're a bloody trooper mate, awesome video!
easily survivable
Cw thoosies are waiting
Greatest thumbnails ever
I was there the day after. Luckily everything was open but Lynet was open later because they had to cut some trees.
Yeah i heard everything opened the next day even with the weather still being bad
Yay, new video, new birthday for me(literaly) :D
Yeah, missing Fonix was one of most painful stings I have experienced when missing a credit. 😞
How your hat didn't fly off your head in those winds is a mystery to me
It absolutely did just not while filming
“That was my idea by the way…” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can’t.

This can double as an wind asmr video
I’m not going on Mini Golf 1 while it’s raining.
Good job making lemomade out of lemons...could have easily been a miserable day but you guys seem to have made the most of it
At 2:31, is that the sound of a dog, or the roller coaster? 🤔
I feel bad for you all! Hans was a once in a century storm and you were in the middle of it...
7:21 that was a parasol but aight
Damn that must have actually sucked
6:56 Speaking of the tree issue lol.
Most painful day of the trip for sure. Thankfully the next day at Tusenfryd would be much much better. =D
The Junior Boomerang was my 900th Coaster
4:28 What about Tornado at Bakken?
Tornado wasn't as crazy as Han-Katten

Yeah i was really looking forward to all 3. They all made my top 15 most anticipated
5:20 or snoopys soap box racers
1 second the coaster is moving super slow, the next your moving near the sound barrier

I can't imagine going back to Denmark if I go back to Europe, but maybe some day
Joe Draves attempt at copying a euro-fighter
I dont want to make u feel worse but man missing fonix has to just kill...coaster looks like a blast, but theres always next time
Pretty sure Tusenfryd won't be that bad
Tusenfryd didn't start off good but it got better as the day went along. That vlog drops on Thursday.
First
Did he just teleport back to the Nordic countries
Im not actually posting these real time lol
Yikes
