Just bought a Z2 still in original box with 28" draw and I shoot 30". Mathews sent dealer a new cam free of charge no questions to rig it up as needed. Amazing bow. 30" w/ 64lb weight slings the arrows very well. Shoots tight patterns as shown here and is very quiet. Very happy with the Z2.
People aren't afraid of cam timing anymore, it seems. More knowledge has been spread on how to limit, or correct cam timing because of the internet. You don't have to rely on a magazine's, "How to" article, or heading to your local archery shop anymore to find information about cam timing.Furthermore, it's been discovered that single cam bows have nock travel concerns, even if it is slight.
Some do. But in Australia you need to set prices so it is not worth buying in the US. I would say people buy Mathew second hand in the US. In my state when I came here I guess 30%of bows were off ebay cheap chinese. The shops here were to expensive. Today it is rare to see an Ebay bow. I dont think anyone in my State purchased a bow from the US.

Do a lot of Australians just buy a bow from the U.S. and have it shipped instead of buying the bow in Australia?

z2 vs z3 witch is better
While you probably have a new bow by now, I went with the Z2 for weight comparison only. Both are good in my opinion.
