"Return UA-cam Dislike" only works if every single person who uses UA-cam had it installed. So one could argue the proportion of people that use the addon are more engaged with drama and therefore will dislike a video.
And THAT friend is where you lost me. The claim that the reason you can't take serious that plugin and this story is because ONLY those who want to weaponize the like to dislike ratio are the one who use it and as such are biased. I use this plugin. I have been using it Since YT made their change, which I disagreed with, of removing visibility of the dislikes. I use it as one more metric in my decision making process of whether to give a video my time or not. I have never and will never use it as a weapon and, big point here .... I am soooo not unique. In fact, I'd make the opposite claim to you, the VAST majority of those of us who use it are NOT the kind that want to weaponize it. They are just normal joes and janes like me who disagreed with YT's move and found our only recourse was this plugin. It's that simple cause when you think of it rationally, the actual percentage of those who write articles, have some business where clickbait is their thing is, like you said, a very small minority and so would not cover the number of us who've actually downloaded said plugin. cheers mate :)
Even as you acknowledge you're stuck in an echo-chamber, you maintain that the numbers you're being shown have any reflection in actual broad reality. A distorted MISINFORMATION that I DISMANTLED as I DEMONSTRATED THE TRUTH in plain sight.... WOW mate... WOOOW. If you use this plugin to make your decisions for you, and you think that's a GOOD THING, I can only hope someday you become able to snap out of the complete cognitive dissonance keeping you there, for your own sake.

I did not ONCE say that "only" those who use it want to weaponize it... and the fact you have to LIE about that - in the comment on a video where anyone can disprove you in MOMENTS - should give you a hint just how badly you are suffering from cognitive dissonance.

BUt haven't you heard of this highly ofensive thing int he game which deservedly gets the hate? I seen it on Twitter. SOme of the CXARPETS are bigger than they really would have been inthose dayhs. For shame Ubisoft!

This is again absolute nonsense, nobody has seen gameplay, everyone is historian now and nobody is talking about pricing.

besides the racial component to the controversy the pricing component also isnt helping the game's case - same as the star wars game which so happens to also be produced by ubisoft
You should make a video about the gameplay for assassin's Creed shadows that has been released they got inspiration from ghost of tushima and the game looks really good

@@arash9255nobody was suggesting that if you don't buy the game you are racist. They were just saying it's kinda silly that folks that don't represent the race of individuals who "aren't being represented" in this game are more upset than the folks that are actually Japanese.
Now the fact that you took it in a way that suggests you are racist for not buying the game may be a bit of a guy check for you. Perhaps you should self reflect a little bit?

With all these crazies about this game I for one will buy this game. I think the two protagonists are interesting and it will be interesting there stories will intertwine with one another. You are righ. You can't use that data. Its very very biased. Something more important to think about is that people who are upset are more likely to engage because of anger and impulsivity than someone who feels literally or is genuinely happy about it. So it's just not a good measure even at the best points and this is Friday example why it's not a good measure across the board at this point.
As for the "outrage"....
Ultimately I don't freaking understand the problem. Nobody should care. Its a video game. Its for entertainment. If you don't like it, dont engage with it.
In movies and tv nobody seems to complain about how "random movie x" or "random tv y" has whatever BS thing makes something not good unless its related to some long standing character or comes from a book or something like that where there is a point of reference.
This is an established series, but like its new characters in a completely different point in history. Like come on. Don't engage with it. Who cares.
