Thank you for this video! I am a resin novice and I'm dying to make my own geode coffee table. I've been watching resin videos non-stop for the past 3 weeks. This is by far the coolest table and the best tutorial I've seen. If you see this comment, would you please tell me the name of the super sparkly, holographic glitter that you've used on the outer edge of the table? You mentioned several. Thanks, again.
I have been dying to see this video, thanks so much for sharing your technique, you're awesome! It's an absolutely stunning work of art & if I had the cash I would buy it and love it always.🥰 I think it's worth every penny.🤩😍
That is freakin cool... I can’t wait to try one!!! Couple of newbie questions...How many layers did that end up with? Is it safe to put outside? How important is it to use quick coat vs art coat? Thank you in advance, you both are such an inspiration!!!👍🏼😍
Hey bri! Thank you so much for watching! We welcome all questions. This piece ended up being like 4 inches thick so it took 6 layers. If I had “filled” the inside layers with casting Epoxy it would have taken less layers because you can pour casting Epoxy thicker. I use quick coat so that my colors don’t interact with those next to them. You don’t have to use it and I would recommend not using it till you are comfortable with resin because it does set up super super fast.
Erika this is beautiful. Now I'm back to wanting to make geodes again. Lol

Beautiful I really love ❤️ I can’t wait to try another. However bigger than my last one. AI left it as a free form geode too small.

I love this! Id like to try one for a table. Would you remember how much resin you used to completion?

I am a beginner with all this stuff. Can I use a hair dryer instead of the heat gun?
Technically yes but it will end up moving your pigments probably more than you would like
Hi. Can acrylic sheet be used as base?
