I made peace with the fact I'll probably be stuck at lvl 75 000. As someone who has a full time job. And still wants to have a social life. The casual players like me. Don't have the time to grind on repeat to get all the lengendary and mythic sets. So good for Aragon.😂
It is OK to have fun and play for leisure. I might follow in your footsteps one day. Dealing with humans is a nuisance, and we can expect conflicts with them when we chase to be the best of the best. Either, they will put down on you, compare you with others, and expect you to follow their wishes and playstyles. With the benefits of doubts, I guess they feel threatened and insecure when you excel better than them. It shouldn't be, and they should take it as motivation to be better and better by learning from others.
Thanks for the video and the document, they always help so much! ;D Could you make a video about "zone-specific gear" that boost damage or resistence? (enemy type-specific would be nice too) I think it would be very useful to have alternatives to fight in other maps/dungeons. tyvm
Overall, great choices of setting. In my opinion, I do not choose smoldering recovery because I do not choose directed flame to maximize the feat. potential. However, it is a good choice also with that setting because low AP gain in Thaumaturge. Thanks for the video Aragon.
I’m confused as to why you use chilling cloud single target rather than ray of frost, that skill is a lot better and generates ap quicker too. It also freezes mobs so u can cc certain ones when needed in like mdwp aic/mic and mtos. Also I think u should recommend the ap gain boots from the chult campaign, they are a very good stand in while you’re farming mtos for the helm and I still use them even at 96k item level (mainly cause I’m lazy) while still maintaining very high stats.
@buckmills4159 yea we know that but it is not practical. Not everyone is on pc so it's a waste trying to at-will switch with a controller. The smarter option is Ray of Frost.
I use Scorching Burst (for Smolder) and Magic Missile (for Arcane Stacks). With Icy Rays and Chill Strike, Rimefire Smolder isn't dropping unless I either de-target the boss or said boss enters the next phase and I can't hit it.
Chilling cloud gives more damage, even without switching between at-wills If you need the freeze effect, then by all means use ray of frost, it is really great for that. You do loose damage though

I got 2 things to discuss with about this. 1. Why are you not using mdwp rings. The set item bonus adds to base. Your essentially adding 250+ base damage which is huge. Like another perfect lolth to your DPS. 2. Have you tried for an AOE set to do hybrid? Icey terrain and fireball guarantees all get smolder plus fireball radius is really big. Icy rays u can also target two enemies and chill strikes can be used on the next highest HP enemies in the group. I find it be much more effective than just trying to slot three or more AOE encounters. Also conduit of ice to me is sort of meh to me, I find in a end game group they will die before u actually get any decent DPS out of it. I am not currently at a computer, but if I remember right, conduit is not affected by hex cause it doesn't add any slow or stun. So having something like fireball that has burst, bigger AOE, and add smolder to everyone seems a bit more versatile in the whole scheme of things
1. the stats and item level from these rings beats the bonuses from 2 dwp rings. check the math 2. I already said that in the video if you need hybrid.

One question: please in multi-target build, do you no longer use Critical Conflagration? I remember testing it in the past and thinking that even though it didn't make any sense, Smolder's procs were reduced a lot without it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Arcane Singularity was still the best AoE daily even after the nerf. Its listed as 1200 magnitude while Furious Immolation is just 900 magnitude. Am i missing something?

You alternate arcane missile and chilling cloud just to get 1 hit each. It keeps your stacks up and actually generates so faster.

when you use chilling advantage you will trigger smolder all the time, so you do not need critical conflagration

arcane singularity takes too long to deal that hit. It used to deal a ton of damage while pulling enemies, now it does 0

Lol so the age of switching at-wills in the middle of a boss fight is at an end? Or is that still needed for that extra bit of damage?
It will get you more damage, but not enough to warrant the hassle, especially when we will be fighting bosses who spawn lots of adds
