It did to broken gears and equipment. For example if someone is running mirage and and wicked Lich mount power the have a serious advantage over anyone that not.
Yes, certain gear on certain classes will give different results, but this is just a tutorial, and the way he test st damage. Just a base line because skill, and situation plays a part as well
They've got the Ranger and thus the Warden completely wrong. Rangers should be bow dominant and melee 2nd (close ok, but 2nd). If I wanted to be a melee dominant class I wouldn't play a Ranger. Edit: I've seen Gus hit 12m on one of his uploads, so you can definitely hit higher (legally or not, I dont know)

yeah I agree, why have a bow if your going to be up in the bosses face or trash packs..it's the main reason why I never played Ranger in Neverwinter but the reason I wanted to play Neverwinter because it did have a ranger class, go figure.

We don't open rotations with dailies anymore since tact percision was introduced. As even if you don't have any encounter powers on cooldown the tact cooldown still applies. Most people have swapped over to using slashers mark and throwing in 1 or 2 dissruptive shots per minute to get a few more arti rotations in during regular rotation time but that can risk you not having slashers mark ap up in time for when it counts aka the arti calls. Also the reason focused is chosen is because i believe the other power does not apply to atwills which via rapid strike are a big chunk of ranger damage and i also believe focused applies to root damage too but don't quote me on that. Plus you're swapping only once in a while. Not all the time like you are with hunter and using rate of change.
Neverwinter devs don't have a clue how class balance works. Not a clue. They jump from class to class making random, non class balance changes and the overall results are predictably bad.
Sadly spin devil cant prox on test server, so i cant ceck or hits from split the sky and thorn ward can prox it multi time, but rat pup and tomb spider do nice dmg ^^
They don't care about cleric dps. From their point of view you are supposed to be a healer. Because you can be a healer they figure your dps spec should be penalized. Silly logic but they don't play the game anyway.
Aragon i just did a test on 5k boss on ps5 with crystal and mirage(flask and sunlord no soup) on hunter and warden build same powers as you are showing. my hunter build finished in 2:30 and the warden build in 4:35 so they must have doubled at least the current warden otherwise its not worth switching for someone who plays hunter on top level and i have been playing hunter for 6 years now
@@Aragon- Quick update. i did full buffs hunter 5k boss 2:27 and with warden 2:17 so theorotically is better if u can be mellee on boss uninterrupted which is a bit streched but still on paper warden is now more dps than hunter (Dracarys)
Hi Arogon I was looking for your warden builds single and AOE can you send me link to those builds I really need the help thank you. Please understand that I'm trying to rebuild my warden so a comparison video will not help me.
As u say if u don't do a perfect rotation on Hunter u currently loosing around 15% to 25% damage, so assuming u r new on HR u can add 20% on your Hunter dmg test 😉 it goes to 1.372.800 dmg who is same than top warden.. so it looks pretty equal 4 me 😉
HUNTER single target: at will 3 encounter in order 9 3 7 (3 atwill hits between each to stack Shroomwood) Feat 11221 daily 3 (after fully stacking shroomwood) status focus order: STR > Accuracy > power > severity > critChance > combat tried those? talking singlet target build & only using bow as a Range'er suppose to be...
Any devuff that makes the boss take 10% more damage with all offensive stats works. You can use one that also gives defense or awareness but it's not ideal. Even more ideal if they're 1.5k item level.

be aware the updates to warden are not out yet. Need to wait until april 23 with Module 28 release

Hunter need bufs, becouse we not geting benefits from hex, spin devil,if you play rogue or wizy, you need have hex and spin devil sloted. ^^

This is why most more modern games don't have pure healers or pure tanks. In Neverwinter palys are just sort of hosed both ways.
I agree warden is easier but the potential for hunter is a lot higher
Both paragons will do nice dmg, oweral i think warden will be stronger, still.not sure or everything working correctly on warden,.

that is some great input how to play ranger on single target.. but what about best for aoe?
aoe is going to be warden for sure. Recommend to mess around with powers yourself, but I will for my build video

Hindering strike should include in tool tip 50% chance your attack does nothing. Its worse than befpre the new mod for me now
