Thanks for helping me discover Alex Kilroy. This is one of my favorite slow blues songs. Done by a great axe slinger, singer and showman...and cute to boot!
@Tone Seeker Lol....ok, I'm sure you must know that the saying, he's "cute to boot", is an expression meaning he's "cute, also". I am not referring to his "booty." Stop trying to get me in trouble! 😅
Damn !!!! He has it all.. Just needs to let the flavors , come together , naturally . Then , turn up the heat and bring it to an overflowing boil.. All in all, looking forward to seeing him get down in the future...
He knows the notes, but, blues is not about how fast you play, it's about what you don't play, too. The time of silence in between the phrasing. Pause bro, pause too.
@@1AnitrasDance You are my idol! You must log a lot of miles!! Keep up the great work, I'd be lost without you. Are you in Burlington for Albert Cummings?
A talent musician w solid chops, but he may want to have a better command of how to build a solo. He starts out flaring away and it gives nothing for the crescendo. Hes got the talent, let's see if he matures.
Matthew Horizon ..... I tried to find a video of you playing… But I was unable to find any of your work. Where can I see some of your mature player work that you speak of in your comment?
Matthew Horizon - you’re absolutely right. The village idiots always totter into the picture when someone tells the truth about their crush. You can’t have any sensible interaction with people who are musically ignorant.
John Buell aaaahha you are a muppet ,Nothing wrong with his playing and not a fan , this came up and I liked it , you my friend are the one that’s ignorant, music is an expression, oh and can I see your video of you playing an instrument to c ure musical talent ?
Really? Jeff knows how to let the music breathe, this kid tries to overwhelm it. It takes time and experience to know what notes to leave out. Someone should take him aside and sit him down with some Miles Davis and Frank Sinatra recordings to learn about phrasing.
Talented. But needs to work out his own sound. You’re not fooling anyone with the SRV tube screamer tone. And don’t start the solo on such a ripping high tone. Good vocals!
A bit harsh. Doesn’t sound much like SRV to me. And SRV didn’t invent the tube screamer, if that’s what’s being used. This isn’t a bad tone - at least it’s not so mega distorted that you can’t hear any notes.
Torino2006 are you saying he turned on a tube screamer somewhere during the tune? I only heard the first bit. Started out OK, but I can’t listen to all of it - too much widdling, too many notes and too much forced drama. I just want to hear someone settle back into a groove and play some tasty stuff. Sick to death of widdle-fest speed competitions.
@Conner J. Mc Everyone's a critic eh? He's talented but...he's great but...I really like him but...good vocals but...and on and on with the buts. Also, why is it when someone hears a guy play blues on a strat with a good tone, does SRV come up? You're not fooling anyone with your self proclaimed knowledge of blues guitar.
Wherever I go, Natasha has already been there..... Thanks for leading the way!
Awesome brother

It's called Blues DNA...give him time, he's just discovering himself
Remarkable voice, remarkable playing take a bow son !
Yep ! Reminds quite a lot of Davy Knowles. Should take a breath sometimes though... ;-)
Great voice to boot 5 star's
Yeaaaaah!
Very claptonesque. 24 nights in places.
Damn !!!! He has it all.. Just needs to let the flavors , come together , naturally . Then , turn up the heat and bring it to an overflowing boil..
All in all, looking forward to seeing him get down in the future...
❤️❤️❤️
...big headstock does it every time!
70's vintage...👍🏾
Nice very Blues,,
nice bluesy tone
Jezzz!
Anyone know why there is the "box shaped" cut out in his pick-guard?
To keep a sample of the Strat in its original color :-))
That looks like white duct tape to me !!!
Loois like a white adhesive label to me. Maybe it used to say, “Hello, my name is Alex.” But now it’s relic’ed.
He knows the notes, but, blues is not about how fast you play, it's about what you don't play, too. The time of silence in between the phrasing. Pause bro, pause too.
It looks like a 70’s strat but it has 22 frets?
modified Harley Benton with decal ℹ
Damn, that strat looks like it has 16d nails for fret wire.
I second that EMOTION!!!!!.....
Slow it down bro
Listen faster....
Once again Nat - Damn, I am SO jealous!! Do you personally shoot all of your vids - or is there a cast of many shooting for you?
I film all of it

Nice chopps
whew!

Matthew Horizon you are a complete bell end . Fact !
Matthew Horizon - you’re absolutely right. The village idiots always totter into the picture when someone tells the truth about their crush. You can’t have any sensible interaction with people who are musically ignorant.
CS/solo you’re the bell end, you deaf twat. Chrome plated fuckwit.

Being bald I just can listen to his hair?
VERY NICE JEFF BECK - LIKE NUTHIN' BUT THE BLUES ! - JOHNNY WINTER

DO YOU SAY THE SAME ABOUT JOE BONAMASSA ? SEE ERIC LIVE GREAT GUITAR WORK
Blues 2.0
needs some cranking or a new amp...
Less is more...
How many guitar players sound like this today?Well hundreds maybe thousands! Its not bad but nothing original.
He ripps
More regurgitated blues.
Kippenvel
Put the guitar down and turn off the amp, now go listen to BB KIng Live in Cook Co Jail. That's the blues, it's not speed blues.
The blues is different for everyone and that’s what makes it great.
Ignorant fucking comment.
Not an elite guitar player at all. Some times boring with not personal style at all, I would say he is a guitar player in a process
And what, exactly, are YOU? I'll find your tunes where??
Talented. But needs to work out his own sound. You’re not fooling anyone with the SRV tube screamer tone. And don’t start the solo on such a ripping high tone. Good vocals!

Connor J. Mc I believe he can perform the way he wants to ! Get a grip
I enjoyed everything he was playing a lot more before he used the tube screamer.

I agree with many other comments, sure, the guy can play, but he needs to get over his fantasy about being Yngwie Ray Vaughan, and learn The Blues.
Great, but too much of the guitar
same to me - great player and singer - sometimes too many notes - like Mozart - if you know what i mean
