PS: I drove back from the French Alps and arrived back in the UK at 11pm the night before filming so was a little tired!
The forecast focuses on trends and probabilities during the second week rather than specifics.
Differences in the output from computer model is highlighted and the most probable outcomes are considered.
Uses high resolution graphics from a range of computer models to give an in-depth view.

Best weather forecaster i have watched yet keep up the good work thank you, God bless!
Thanks, you too!
❤ love your jumper 😊
Owh I hope so Bri, I hope it is dry so I can crack on with me gardens, been nice here today.
I hope so too!
Very interesting update.
A continental airflow isn’t necessarily cold especially if there isn’t a deep cold pool to the east to tap into
This may be one of those scenarios - even though the likes of Exacta Weather are onto their usual tricks, trying to whip up hysteria.
If the air flow has more of a south-easterly tilt to it, that suggests average to mild rather than cold….
Thankyou Brian.
Excellently presented Brian.
Hey Brian in the deterministic model run why the green blob over Europe in all the graphics, I'm pretty sure that blobs been there ages, some have called it a cut off point in past. I can't see exactly but the blob looked like over eastern Europe, one of the graphs shown a glimpse of a greater blob I say wud be over China.
Brian can U sometimes pull out on the maps to show the bigger picture, like Wats happening over America to the west and like Russia China to the east so we can see how the bigger picture is effecting our weather.
To zoom out now and again and show Russian weather etc wud be useful indeed.
A world report once a week from U Brian wud be really useful
Brilliant presentation Bri.
Loved the snow story, wish I was there to watch it with ya.
Easy Bri
I'm thinking about that. 3D Earth Weather on TWO provides a global view but it is only available to subscribers www.theweatheroutlook.com/twoforecasts/earth-weather.aspx
You obviouslyly can't spell .Wud is spelt w-o-u-l-d,not w-u-d.
I hear there's a SSW event coming in the 2nd week of Febuary.Could that mean the east will get heavy snow.?
Do you personally expect snow in the Midlands next week?
The Atlantic jet ids very strong though yes? if it does come off a lot of grey Anti cyclonic gloom, hopefully any high gives us a dry south east airflow and sunny days, we will see, cheers Brian
Yes a raw easterly feed at the moment looks possible but far from certain.
Think that’s about right as theres not sufficient levels of cold air east of us. The latter this weather set up goes on the higher day time temperatures are likely to be. Really hoping the anti cyclonic gloom is reduced by any south easterly drift 🥶
We could still get a very raw easterly feed but at the moment there is a lack of deep cold.
I don’t see the high moving further north enough to turn the wind into a long fetch easterly also there’s no deep pool of cold air developing ! Atlantic has to much strength keeping the high pressure south east of us:) This will leave a chilly type of weather but days ending up milder and sunny & nights chilly or cold.
Will Hull get snow in the 2nd week of Febuary?Thanking You
Hazel
As we know the ‘2 week away ‘ forecast is never right, so see what happens
It depends on what you mean by "right". As I always say, the second week is about "trends and probabilities", so the direction of travel. I leave it to other people to decide whether they find it interesting and valuable or not. I've never been a salesman and I'm not going to try to become one at my age!
Back in the UK 'unfortunately' lol, tell me about it 😂
There are pros and cons!
Too early be sure what the out come will be . But we will see.
Indeed
Snow please
That's not snow, this is snow Brian, my front garden about this time last winter ua-cam.com/video/69IfowLTE68/v-deo.htmlsi=3FyH6ODzf6lP62YZ
Nice video but I think we had a bit more snow than you did!
