You’re so negative when it comes to cold weather I hope you are pretty and wrong and your words will be embarrassing apart from that not bad weather for mild lovers going for higher 50% only because GFS charts milder weather
You’re so negative when it comes to cold weather I hope you are pretty and wrong and your words will be embarrassing apart from that not bad weather for mild lovers
These models are absolutely rubbish changed every day 😂😂😂
I very much doubt it just cold
We had a few flurries of snow overnight on 7 Feb light dusting here in lumsden Aberdeenshire
Hopefully it can make its mind up , trying to do landscaping in ice cold rain / mizzle conditions is evil! I’d either go sub zero so I can pack up or get warmer and wetter so we can really moan …..personally I’m leaning towards the cold winning as it’s been quietly building all winter plus last Nina effect for NW Europe……. great balanced forecast thank you ))
Thankyou for the video Brian.Very ifformative.Where in the UKk are situated if you don't mind me asking?I am on the East coast of the UK. Best Wishes from Hazel.
He lives in Berkhampstead in the chiltern hills
Always favouring mild weather. Weather models are a pain 3 days ahead, let alone 15.
Come back in few days and all change again
Green dots 🔴👍
That's some spread on these charts it's like the models are struggling to figure all this out. Thanks for the update I always look forward to your video's. Been watching you on the weatheroutlook (TWO) for many years 😉.
Looking back in history regarding Feb.
Thank you Brian for the update. It looks as if we are having a proper cold winter.
Does it though?
We DON'T want cold. It has scarcely been above 10C as a maxima and we have been stuck with anti-cyclonic gloom since early November with one or two stormy interludes. We need warmth. Grass is not growing and many are really worried about fuel bills.
Very true.I am worried about how big my gas bill will be at the end of April..I dare not think about it.
But we scarcely got proper snow in London😡 This never happened since December of the "Arab year".. I mean "2022". And for me the 4th of Jan snow didn't accumulate properly.
Bro grass has overgrown in spring-summer 2024
Ty
Green dots? One of us is colour blind, l know it's not me.
@biomechanique6874: I see RED dots.
That's good news, thanks. I don't want it to get too cold.
When is the thick cloud we're currently under likely to clear?
Thanks Brian, very useful. Quite why you got a 'Climate Change' warning is a mystery!
This is weather, not climate . Globally we have had the warmest January ever recorded on the planet. The effect on people who dont live in wet cool temperate areas is far more severe. Read up about it on something thats not the Daily Mail
@@KeefsCattys I was referring to the light blue banner under the video. I wouldnt go by what the Daily Mail ahs to offer. Its hardly a reliable source, rather Like the Gaurdian and the BBC. The euqatorial areas, dont have cold januarys and a few tenths of a C is neither here nor there. If one accesses the satellite data rather than that poluuted by UHI effects, there is no spike. Quite the reverse.
bless you brian.
Oh yes Brian I'm loving that first diagram that shows the bigger picture, thank U very much indeed
Thanks for the reality check, too many going on about Beasts ETC.

Will mid Glamorgan south Wales uk get snow?
10 feet of snow please 🙏

Is Hull on the east coast going to get snow? And if so when? Thanks for the video Brian.
There could be some wintry showers, but the risk of significant snow still looks low.
Thankyou Brian.Love your jumper.
Thanks - it was a Christmas pressie
Great to see a very sensible and conservative approach to the potentially forthcoming cold ))
I always try to keep these realistic. Despite the hype, large parts of southern Britain has seen very little or no snow this winter. Even in the north the picture has been patchy.
Easy Brian
😊
Thank you Brian. An excellent presentation as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
An excellent roundup Brain, thanks.
Very welcome!
@@TheWeatherOutlookTWOnice one pinky 😂
It’s funny the 2 week away forecast is never right, can’t even get the next day right 🤣
Can you be more specific?
You are so negative when it comes to cold weather
I try to be objective at all times.
@ yes but you seem to play things down …. Reason why most people tune into the weather is because of snow and cold 🥶..
That's not the case IME. More people check the weather in the summer months when there are festivals, barbecues etc. to worry about. That aside, I'm not trying to produce clickbait - eventually people see through it and ignore it.
Thanks
Welcome
Cheers again Brian 👍🏼
Very welcome
Agree with Brian. Air to the east of us is not very cold - so no real sign of anything severe at present. So stupid Mail / Express cold exaggeration etc drama appears rubbish.
I always try to be realistic in these forecasts. When viewing / reading some forecasts I have to check if they're for UK and not Lapland.
@@TheWeatherOutlookTWO Yes Brian - I think your forecasts and assessments are balanced and sensible. The weather has been my hobby since age 7 or 8 - and I'm now 66. I've also a Degree in Geography / Meteorology - but never used it. I find some of the weather reporting really frustrating - I suspect you do as well. Keep up the good work.
"Is there any truth in that?" Are you daring to question newspaper weather stories? Quite right. Tabloid weather is often exaggeration on steroids.
Also, some of the reports on social media are not very helpful (to be polite!)
A SSW is forecast for mid February which may cause a bitter east wind towards the end of February beginning of March.
I discussed SSW
We Will see what happens
Indeed
All a bit OTT these models, already backing down, a lot of people getting slightly carried away with beasts stories hilarious, just sunny and fresh days I hope, cheers Brian.
No probs
Very interesting update. A continental airflow isn’t necessarily cold especially if there isn’t a deep cold pool to the east to tap into This may be one of those scenarios - even though the likes of Exacta Weather are onto their usual tricks, trying to whip up hysteria. If the air flow has more of a south-easterly tilt to it, that suggests average to mild rather than cold….
Snow please
Will Hull get snow in the 2nd week of Febuary?Thanking You Hazel
I hear there's a SSW event coming in the 2nd week of Febuary.Could that mean the east will get heavy snow.?
Thankyou Brian.
Do you personally expect snow in the Midlands next week?
Best weather forecaster i have watched yet keep up the good work thank you, God bless!
Thanks, you too!
❤ love your jumper 😊
That's not snow, this is snow Brian, my front garden about this time last winter ua-cam.com/video/69IfowLTE68/v-deo.htmlsi=3FyH6ODzf6lP62YZ
Nice video but I think we had a bit more snow than you did!
Excellently presented Brian. Hey Brian in the deterministic model run why the green blob over Europe in all the graphics, I'm pretty sure that blobs been there ages, some have called it a cut off point in past. I can't see exactly but the blob looked like over eastern Europe, one of the graphs shown a glimpse of a greater blob I say wud be over China. Brian can U sometimes pull out on the maps to show the bigger picture, like Wats happening over America to the west and like Russia China to the east so we can see how the bigger picture is effecting our weather. To zoom out now and again and show Russian weather etc wud be useful indeed. A world report once a week from U Brian wud be really useful Brilliant presentation Bri. Loved the snow story, wish I was there to watch it with ya. Easy Bri
I'm thinking about that. 3D Earth Weather on TWO provides a global view but it is only available to subscribers www.theweatheroutlook.com/twoforecasts/earth-weather.aspx
